Gary had limited ability but due to sheer will and hard graft he was a regular fixture in the United squad and a very important player. Other's with more ability don't have the fight in them and never realise their potential. Milner reminds me of Gary Neville, the way he extracts the maximum from himself despite not being the most talented player.

Roy Keane is low-key a comedy genius. He pretends like he is unaware and it's all accidental but I think he knows full well what his image in the public eye is and he plays with it for comedic effect, with a deadpan face as well. Love the guy!

I don't want a politically correct friendly follow up question, I want to know what Neville, who was there in the buildup to all this, thought and what he had to say to Keane. You lose that when an intevewiers comes in and adds his two cents. He was rather rude to Neville first who even said can he follow up, and kept interrupting him too. Why do you want to reward that guy instead? Just a nonsense post from you.

Roy Keane - brutal, honest, direct, holds no punches, straight to the point and just says it how it is. In a world where everyone gets offended with what is said and done it is so refreshing to see Roy Keane on stage and just speak his mind.

Who'd love to see an interview like this with Keane and Scholes? Explaining their midfield partnership from how they lived it at the time. The balance of Keanes tackling, aggression, workrate and leadership with Scholes' passing range, football brain, ability to find space, switch play and arrive in the box at the right time and finishing ability was something special that will never be replicated again in modern football. Nicky Butt was also a brilliant midfielder that wasn't given the acknowledgement he deserved as a result of the brilliance of Keane and Scholes. I live near Paul Scholes and see him in the local pubs and it's crazy to just see him sat there having a pint chatting with his mates as though he was a post man on his day off. You'd never look at him as the same guy that Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta, Vieira, Kaka and Seedorf said was the best player they'd played against. The humility of the man is irritating 😂

There’ll be a lot of people on here who didn’t see Keane play week in week out. He was simply magnificent, drove the team on fearlessly and with intense commitment. There were times were he was engaging, honest and entertaining. However, there were times when his attitude can only be described as disgraceful. Also a hypocrite, having a go at an honest pro like Walters for for doing TV work, earning a living, the exact he does himself. But then again I have little time for Roy.

This is genuinely brilliant, love how honest they both are. Roy is one of the last “say what you see” pundits and to hear his stories of how it actually was inside the dressing room back then was definitely one for the scrapbook. Thinking what a place Old Trafford must have been late 80s early 90s with Pallister, Bruce, Schmeichel, Keane, Robson, Stapleton, Irwin, etc. Gary is a top man too, magic to hear his angle on everything

I loved Roy Keane as a player, best captain of all time. Amazing pundit, says what he thinks - he`s as passionate as he was in his playing days. He always makes me laugh, at times I can't stop laughing. I adore Nev also. So glad I saw both play live numerous times.

Nice to see Keane and Neville remain so cordial despite the fall out at Man United. Really shows that its more of an issue with Ferguson and the club, than it was with any of the players. Keane was a natural leader, deserves the utmost respect. Was wrong to just let him walk like that, after all he had done for United. The fans won't forget, I certainly won't forget.

As a Liverpool fan I find the insight into what went on fascinating.

As a Liverpool fan I concur. When we played them I feared Keane, I secretly wished he was in the Liverpool team. The battles with them were epic.

Keane was 3 players rolled into 1 for utd, great listening to his insight and experience with the beautiful game.

This is the best I've seen. I was glued to it start to finish. Absolutely amazing, pure gold. What an insight. Roy will be back in Glasgow at some point which is where I send my from. LEGEND!

Keane often comes off super serious as a pundit or maybe he plays that role. Nice to see him smile and joke.

I got the feeling that the hosts just wanted to interview Keane. Not one question was asked to Gary and every time he spoke they either interrupted him or asked Keane another question straight after.

Roy Keane is great, brutally honest and does not suffer fools. Hard player and a great talker

Very entertaining listening to both Keane and Neville. A lot of knowledge and a hell of a lot more honesty between them. Always a pleasure to hear what they have to say.

Gary Neville's laugh sounds like a woman crying!!

ORIGINALINDIVIDUAL that’s how interviews work in general ... but yes great seeing two legends wicked interview

I sat down to watch a little bit of this before doing some things... half way through and I am breaking my sides laughing... love these guys, Keane and Neville great characters.

What Roy done for the late Liam Miller and his family was amazing.

Jack Reilly Good point, I didn't think of it in the sense Gary was left out somewhat. I still think he was rude and over the top though.

What a man... in this day and age of political correctness where honesty and loyalty is hard to come by i see this man... he will fight to death for his friends and for what he believes is right....

There is some solid gold stuff in this. Roy: "I count my blessings, I'm very very lucky". Interviewer: "Content?". Roy: "I wouldn't go that far".

Keane is an absolute legend, he used to drink in my uncles pub in Altrincham, i stayed there every so often I drew a picture of giggs when I was around 12 years old just incase he came in and keane came in the pub instead, I scribbled over giggs hair lol and scribbled the number and name to Keane, still have to this day. We miss a player like keane.

@@kidpresentable6004 I totally agree, the game has changed a lot and I guess that echos society of today, everything has to be sterile, no characters either. Its strange most of us have opinions and not always a good one but surely that's freedom of speech but not today there is no such thing as "freedom" of speech, its either say something nice or its a hate crime. The world is literally turning into the film "equilibrium" 😂

@@kidpresentable6004 no, communism comes at slightly different circumstances:))) for communism to come there must be huge social inequality and the rich guys must pay so little to the poor guys who work for them - today it's not the case, so for now it's "communist-free" days:))) except for some countries like Sweden have found the way of regulating many aspects of life in a "socialistic way" really! and as long as they don't pronounce words like "socialism" no one seem to care really about what they do there and how they do it at home :)) but that's no way near communism

Roy Keane is exactly what Manchester United are missing now!

Harsh but fair. He was part of a brilliant man Utd squad but had a nothing career outside of that. All respect to Fergie but that had to be nepotism.

I love his personality and for this kinda of guy a friend I would do anything. Don't change Roy Keane ever this world is soft and we need few billion people like you

Roy is bitter. He has the right to say what he said and to be upset, but you can't say Fergie did nothing good for him. Just like he may have done wrong by Fergie and the team.

This is one of the best, most candid interviews i've ever watched, genuinely top entertainment throughout. Taking nothing away from Gary but Roy Keane should be on our tv's much more than he is.

I remember being a kid and seeing Keane pop up on the television in the 90s. He was the reason I got into Football, him and those United sides grew my love for the game. You have to understand, being from the United States, the 90s were almost impossible for us to find EPL games. Twenty years on, looking back on the quality we had, we look at the league, the players and you can see what we’re lacking. Keano’s ethos transcends football; do what needs to be done, lead by example, stand for what is true and get on with it. What a guy, was an inspiration, still an inspiration! I’d run through a wall for this man.

Life long Liverpool fan but I have huge respect for Roy Keane I could listen to him for hours very badly treated by the club he gave so much to.

All the Liverpool fans on here are praising Keano, only, because he's having a go at Fergie. Give the man credit just for being a fantastic player.

Both Roy and Gary had top careers in football. Sad how it ended at United for Roy but it meant we got to see him play for Celtic. Great to hear the guy talking open and honest.

Roy Keane is such great entertainment. Need more characters like him in football

I know people talk about Roy and SAF and how it went south towards the end, but you could hear the respect he has for the boss even after so many years.

Keane could easily turn his hand to stand up comedy - excellent comic timing.

Listening to this and hearing the humility in Gary Neville regarding his management experience is truly inspiring…I tried it in my field of work and realised it wasn’t for me and having the humility to accept that is an awakening ..I could listen to Keane talking all day long as he had the passion for his football and what he was as a player…superb upLoad.

I’m in awe of Gary Neville here coming to a Q&A in Dublin out of his comfort zone with an Irish audience and blowing me away with his brutal honesty about trying to run a restaurant and managing a Spanish team with the language barrier and it all failed. Most players would have lied and said it wasn’t the right time so I quit or walked out but he wore his heart on his sleeve here and I tip my hat to Gary Neville for that!

Roy keane your a legend mate you deserve to tell your side of the story how it was people need to see the bigger picture well done roy your a legend pal

We need more people like Keane and Neville at Manchester United

In my opinion Bryan Robson was-he captained a far worse team and bunch of players that Keane ever did and was incredible. Keane was also a great but comparisons between players of different eras is almost impossible

Watched this many times and still enjoy it. As a Liverpool fan I never thought I would say this but I really enjoy listening to Roy & Gary talk. I love Gary’s almost nervous laugh as though he is expecting Roy to give him a slap at any moment.

Man Utd had Keane in the 90’s, Liverpool had Jamie Redknapp. That was the difference with us and Man Utd. Roy Keane is boss.
