@@NegotiationMastery I appreciate the reply. I was focused more on prospects that may have heard the same tactics over and over and get wise to it. But I guess it's just me projecting what I would do.

@@AberrantArt The great thing is that the purpose is trust, not deception. If someone knows you are trying to understand them with empathy, and they put up barriers, you might find them putting them back down again, or you might learn the deal doesn't have proof of life.
