UNCLOGGING TONS OF CULVERTS AND BEAVER CLOGS NT#43 05/2024

FAQs/Why would they do that?! Answers
We are so glad you are here! Welcome to our channel!
1. We are in Oklahoma near the Arkansas border.
2. We do this on a volunteer basis.
3. Kim aka Mom is retired. Jennifer owns her own business as a massage therapist.
4. We film multiple locations in one day since we can’t go out all the time given Jen’s full time job. You may not see all the locations we filmed that day in one video.
5. You may see other people in our videos at times including Granny aka Sue (mom’s mom), Jeff (Kim’s husband and Jennifer’s dad), or Jessica (Jennifer’s little sister) and Lucy (our beautiful, amazing, wonderful dog).
6. Many wonder why we put stuff down culverts. A few reasons: it provides help for wildlife, we like to and it would have gone downstream anyway. If it blocks another culvert then we will take care of that too but most of the locations we visit are in incredibly rural areas where there won’t be another culvert for miles.
7. We care about wildlife and never want to cause harm to them. The only reason we will clear a beaver damn is if it is threatening land or roads that can not be accessed any other way. It may not be the road directly within sight but a farm road close by.
8. We appreciate advice in the comments. We understand that we will receive constructive criticism in the comments. What we won’t allow is the calling of names, derogatory terms, or just plain calling us stupid or idiots. We are all adults here and the internet is already a largely negative place as it is, let’s not add to it. We are people doing our best to help our neighborhood and planet by picking up trash and clearing culverts. Why do we deserve hate for that?
9. You may not agree with or like the way we did something but that doesn’t mean we did it wrong. There is a right/wrong way to dismantle a bomb. Clearing culverts is up for interpretation to the one doing the work.
10. We hope that you enjoy our videos and will keep coming back for more! Any other questions you have feel free to ask in the comments.

Thanks for being here for the ride 😁
Good work ladies. Glad to see you are being safe.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO LADIES ANOTHER JOB WELL DONE 😊😊
That last Culvert tells you the quantity of water that can pass through that area. Its insane
Got all excited when saw 1h13m. Something about your videos that is so relaxing, satisfying. Thanks ladies!
Well done!
Great video as always! Have you ever thought of doing a bloopers video? Do you ever have oopsie moments? Keep up the hard work. You have me watching all the waterways in my area daily to help keep them flowing. Thank you and God bless.
I love Jen she talks to the stubborn trees/branches as if they were annoying men xx. Good work ladies as usual 😊😊😊

WOW another amazing video and over 1hr long👍 I honestly can't get enough of your videos, I do find myself shouting at the tv "come on, get flowing through" Is it just me? lol 😂
Hi ladies, definitely prefer the 2 cameras so we can see what your doing and the exit at the same time. When it starts chucking stuff out we miss what your doing. Love your videos. From UK.
I dont always comment but I appreciate the longer video, shows how hard u both worked 🙂👍

Thanks 👍
Those massive ones are generally old underground fuel containers from gas stations. I wish they would use those more. they are so solid and last so long. great job!!!!
Grandma you are sure strong!
Bonjour Mom et Jen. Je vous suis depuis longtemps et j'adore vos vidéos. Le courage et la ténacité ne vous manque pas. Un bisous de France
Those big giant culverts look like the big tank cars on the railroad I've seen a few different cities use those as culverts because they last so much longer
Those last 2 culverts won't rust out any time soon....wow!
One piece of kit that may help your cause, a wrecking bar. Five feet of hexagonal hardened steel, chisel at one end, point at the other. Great for breaking up consolidated ground, concrete and helps to persuade distorted metal to yield. Just a suggestion. Good luck. 👍

I was thinking the same thing! Got one in my barn that's been used for all sorts of prying, levering, ka-chunking, etc.
Another great job ladies 🎉😊
DANG!!! Did you see her move that HUGE rock? Don't mess with Momma!!! lol
Y'all are an awesome team together. Really enjoy your videos. Thank you.
I continue to enjoy your vids. You both are doing a great service for the environment and for the people. I commend you and you both should be given medals for your contribution.🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🏆🏆🏆🏅🏅🏅
I have to share an experience based on a product I saw you using. I have a mini chainsaw and thought that was the best but THEN I saw that pruner and had to have one. Amazon delivered and I finally got to try it out yesterday on some potted cane type plant my mother has that is a monster. The stems are a good inch and a half thick. This thing cut through it like butter. Just zip and done. So any of you gardeners or plant destroyers out there are thinking about this, BUY IT. And a mini chainsaw. lol

I love ours too 😁
Thanks. That was a nice long one.😊
You can use snips or shears to cut away the damaged culvert pieces
Great job Kim and Jen. I'm always so excited when a new video is out! Y'all are my favorite uncloggers ever!
Good afternoon everyone hope you are having a good day. Greetings from ohio. Good job ladies stay safe.
Stick flinging and now limb launching. I love y’all. Mrs. Kim, safety first. Jenn, great job. I’d have to take that first large blocking rock home as a victory trophy. Stay safe y’all.
An hour long video? Thank you! I could watch you two for hours every day! Excellent video! Thank you!
Thoroughly enjoyable video - again. We’ve come to expect it from you, but I for one, still appreciate your effort very much. Not just the actual physical work of driving and unclogging, but also the filming and editing which I’m sure must take lots of your time. Thank you very much for your continued labours.

Jen here-Yes sometimes the editing process is twice as long as the filming.
Momma....safety first please 😐...you big kid you 😂
Snakes are starting to come out of brumation. Be careful ladies! ❤
What a great video! Kudos for never giving up. 😎🇨🇦😎
My job can sometimes be stressful. I am in a call center and some of the people I speak with are not always in the best of moods. Watching your videos is actually relaxing and stress relieving. Lol
Jennifer be careful don't hurt yourself on those big trees and branches ❤
I cackled when Jen said "You bum!"... when she tried to pull up the downed trees but they unfortunately were entangled...lol

She learned that habit from her dad. Usually when they say it they are referring to themselves when they make a mistake 🤣
You shouldn't be reaching in those leaves....isn't it snake season? Be careful. Love to watch you guys working to unclog stuff.
Don't doubt mom! 😂 Thank you for some great uncloggings and for your efforts. Some beautiful scenery.
Another great video, you ladies are sure persistent! Love watching!
Another well done video Kim and Jen !!!!
I know it means more work for you all, but I love these long videos! Great job ladies!
I like this one very much. The damaged culverts do not make your job easy. Very well done.
lovely long video 💗👍
I get nervous when you girls put your hands in the culverts in warm weather!
I want to come help you sometime so I can grab all the flat rocks I want!
Hi ladies….Awesome job. I mist be the odd one. I enjoy watching the unclogging & debris getting sucked into the culvert. Coming out it ok…but I just like the other side personally. A few times I feel like I missed out when Jenn did the one with several damaged culverts. But you can’t please everyone. PS..that weird one reminded me of the old movie Flubber. The way it was bubbling up. 😂. Your Mom & her rocks. Stay safe out there ladies. Warmer temps means those poisonous you know what’s are in the water. 😳☠️😵
Awesome job ladies ❤😊
You cant tell her, she is on a mission ,, good ole mom...😄😄..
Nice job ladies. Sometimes you two just crack me up. Love your video’s.
Do you ever get the chance to report the collapsed culverts and road damage? And if you do, have you ever gone back to see if they’ve been repaired?
HOLY GOD..... that was huge . perpective was deceiving till mom went down.
I love watching you ladies! ❤️ from Illinois!
WOW!!!!!! Those culverts at the end are some of the largest I’ve ever seen. That is just crazy the size of those things. Especially when we were standing next to them & in them. 😵
Great work as always ladies!! From your biggest fan in Australia 🇦🇺
Does the county ever thank you for clearing out the culverts?
Great video, ladies! Well done ❤
All culverts are not created equal 😮
Bom dia. Belo trabalho que vcs estão fazendo. Aqui na cidade de novo Hamburgo no estado do rio grande do sul no Brasil estamos enfrentando uma enchente sem precedentes.

Sorry to hear that
Nothing is colliding. Those culvert are rusted out under the road. That's why water goes out of the opposite pipe.
you probably need tin snips for the curled culverts.
Wow! This time you do heavy rock! Would like to work with you.
Hi ladies, I loved your channel and seeing how you ladies unclog, but I noticed you are starting to film the exits and not how you unclog (1:00:10). Me personally, I started watching because I liked seeing how you work - which is in inspiration.

I was a little disappointed as well watching mostly exit and not of Jen clearing especially using her hands. Other than that, another wonderful video!!
Jen❤❤❤
Ladies your the best North Carolina cares
I don't understand why the DOT or the county would place culverts in the corner of the creek (Timestamp 29:30).
Idk...perhaps as a suggestion get a battery operated Sawzall to perhaps try and cut away the mangled ends of culverts...just a suggestion...
Hope your Tetanus shots are up to date? Microwave used for target practice. I like your mom she's muleheaded. 19:02 or so I love the pic.

mom got hers awhile back and Jen just got one the other day.
no 1000 👍you girls are fab
I wonder if they notify towns or cities about the collapsed culverts. I know it takes time and money before anything is done, but eventually with enough attention being brought to the subject, they usually do something

a lot of these rural areas we are in are owned by a company that plants trees to be harvested. most of their roads were created years ago and are not used super frequently. when they go to harvest trees that are ready they will check these bridges when they need more access to the road.
Another job well down mum & Jen xx
What do the county/state road guys think of all your hard work????
@culvertsandmore
Ай бұрын
Never have asked them.
That must be rough on your body and kneeling down on the rocks Be careful you don’t hurt yourself
Hi Jennifer sweetheart good to see you incharge today.
Awesome relaxing video. The rocks are so annoying. On the Amazon Wishlist the delivery address doesn't show up automatically. I need help.
@culvertsandmore

When it’s on a wishlist like that the address is hidden. If you purchase it from the wishlist it will send it to the right address.
The microwave could have been used for a mailbox
Have you ladies considered taking hubby and his chainsaw with you more often to cut up the big stuff to make it more manageable? Keep up the good work and be safe!

Yes we have. Dad is super busy with his porch swing/carpentry projects right now. It keeps him going with those commissions but we hope he will come out with us again soon.

What amazing scenery you work in,all through the seasons. Glad Daddy is busy,as you are!
microwave mailbox Throws hands in air in desperation
Please don’t throw or rake debris on to the roadway.
Maybe the microwave got impaled there from a tornado?
Love your vids - Jen, you may complain about your mom not listening to your safety tips, but I’ve seen your mom flinch a little when you throw large sticks her way. You’ve come close to hitting her a few times. So I wouldn’t complain until you stop doing that.
Why don't you help Jen? It would be so much easier on her, if did. You girls do a great job.
@Roselleg
Ай бұрын
Jenn does. Usually they trade off. Sometimes Mrs. Kim is just stubborn and wants that victory.
you guys need soft kneepads if you’re going to be kneeling down on the rocks like that
I understand that some of your viewers enjoy watching you actually unclog the blockages, I do too, but what an absolute treat to see the results of your hard work, when we see the exits gush out all the rubbish from the block and then run freely once again. Really grateful for the extra effort of including exit shots. 👍👍😳😳😳🤿💦💦. Just a note on the synchronisation of the video when you have a two camera setup. BRILLIANT
