We are so glad you are here! Welcome to our channel!
1. We are in Oklahoma near the Arkansas border.
2. We do this on a volunteer basis.
3. Kim aka Mom is retired. Jennifer owns her own business as a massage therapist.
4. We film multiple locations in one day since we can’t go out all the time given Jen’s full time job. You may not see all the locations we filmed that day in one video.
5. You may see other people in our videos at times including Granny aka Sue (mom’s mom), Jeff (Kim’s husband and Jennifer’s dad), or Jessica (Jennifer’s little sister) and Lucy (our beautiful, amazing, wonderful dog).
6. Many wonder why we put stuff down culverts. A few reasons: it provides help for wildlife, we like to and it would have gone downstream anyway. If it blocks another culvert then we will take care of that too but most of the locations we visit are in incredibly rural areas where there won’t be another culvert for miles.
7. We care about wildlife and never want to cause harm to them. The only reason we will clear a beaver damn is if it is threatening land or roads that can not be accessed any other way. It may not be the road directly within sight but a farm road close by.
8. We appreciate advice in the comments. We understand that we will receive constructive criticism in the comments. What we won’t allow is the calling of names, derogatory terms, or just plain calling us stupid or idiots. We are all adults here and the internet is already a largely negative place as it is, let’s not add to it. We are people doing our best to help our neighborhood and planet by picking up trash and clearing culverts. Why do we deserve hate for that?
9. You may not agree with or like the way we did something but that doesn’t mean we did it wrong. There is a right/wrong way to dismantle a bomb. Clearing culverts is up for interpretation to the one doing the work.

Regarding the first of the road overflowing sites you attack: PLEASE, notify the county/roads department about the amount of undermining (Where water has washed away soil and rock from beneath the travelled portion of the road) at this location. A heavy pickup or a trailer with horses may collapse that road! It really should be closed at the said location until repairs can be made!!! Once again, you are doing awesome work! I hope the local authorities send you a thank you letter at the very least?!? I know how hard such work can be since I dug out a blocked creek around 4 years ago. It flooded soccer fields used by little kids. I had to clear debris for about 50 yards of the creek, all across the creek. There was plenty of garbage to remove, from hydraulic hoses to sleeping bags to sofa cushions. I had the time because I was waiting for hip replacement surgery. The view at 21:02 is beautiful! It would be nice (And more responsible) if they didn't clearcut such large areas. I just have to wonder how much wildlife was displaced because of it!?! (Swiss-Canadian, living in Ottawa, ON, Canada)

Kenislovas is another good channel for beaver dams with a similar amount of talking to this channel. Enough to let you know what the situation is, but the focus is on the clearing. He gets some really tall ones in his area too

Those 2 were awesome to watch shoot everything through at once.
Another great video ladies. Check out the young men (teen or pre-teen) out of Oregon (You tube/Odds and Ends), that also clean culverts. ditches, etc. They also have referenced Post 10. I don't think they have an Amazon account or have a way to get donations. Seeing some of your equipment might help them. They ride bikes around their area to find and clean clogs. They are very entertaining and I love the color of the one kids' red hair. He is so smart about all the environmental stuff.

In the comments of two of your earlier videos I also mentioned the height of the concrete. To prevent debri from easily getting stuck it should be way lower

It is a rural area north of where we live
Standing in front of the culverts with out a thought. It's like pulling the plug on a man sized bathtub drain with a jagged opening. What could go wrong. Y'all scare me to death!

Saplings someone in the comments would know what type of pine trees 🌲 they are. We had a arborist give the class a pine 🌲 sapling to plant back in grade school. Back when they did stuff like that. yeaup still flourished after all these years. Lives till pukes i’ll be 43 this June so age wise No telling on the growth rings. early teens guessing-guestamate rings the same or more.

we started off doing volunteer work of picking up trash in our area and then we migrated into this as well. then we just started to film it to try to support our costs. and now we are here a year and a half later.
