@@MaditaFin but it's a winter temperature here in Queensland.
what a great idea your dad came up with that idea plus a system to store it with in your truck.
Loving the whole family dynamic. And I believe dad likes to be there to help his ladies out!
Absolutely looks like hard work.❤
Now you got dad hooked on this too!
I wonder if I’m the only one who found herself moving shoulders with each push. Omg…really enjoying this! I would have tried with the pole alone to see if it’d loosen the debris a bit. The piece at the front may be compacting the plug up even more. Just my helpful suggestion…😅 It’s a balmy 8 degrees celsius here today…just bits of snow left in the fence corners. Can’t wait for next instalment ❣️ 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
Very good attempt to unclog, a pity that not all worked out like you hoped for. I felt my own back. Love you❤
Maybe trying to push it from the exit may help. Anyway awesome job like always. Your dad is a champion. ❤
very smart build Dad
Oh wow! Great job trying and what an awesome dad you have, helping you out and crawl into that culvert. Way to go, dad!!
Great job as always Jen, Mom and Dad.
i must say you guy a great and your dad is a legend he went in head first into that culvert to get it cleared love the vids and keep up the great work

Aloha 🌺 Appreciate you trying! 🥰
A great attempt to penetrate the line. Thanks for the efforts! 🙂👍🇺🇸
Great effort!
your dad is awesome
I ❤ your family team, oh and your new gloves lol 😆 watching from England 🇬🇧
Would a smaller end, maybe a 4” disc, be easier to push through and then put the bigger wood disc? Your family is amazing. I love how you all work together. Greetings from Southeastern Kentucky.
Your mom is a very hard worker.
Hi, I love your determination and passion for the job at hand . This world needs more people like you all. Keep up the great work and stay safe .
I need some of those gloves to clean my koi pond skimmer out!
That blockage was a tough one! I was holding my breath through the whole thing. The weight of those pipes alone would be exhausting!
nice work. you got the others going.
Oh I get the long extension pole now. Hope he patents it!! ❤❤❤
I TOTALLY ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO LADIES AND GENTLEMAN ANOTHER JOB WELL DONE 😊
Dad's tool is brilliant, but you need a twist-on 'T' for a push/pull handle.
It looks like hard work to me. It’s a free workout! 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦
You need one. Attachment for you extension pipe with a point on it and a pipe wrench to turn it like a drill to make a break in the blockage
21.58 Pops is thinking 'should I make a run for it' 😂. I was pushing every time you were and I'm knackered and I was only helping in my head !!.

Thank you for doing the job you are doing it's so nice to see a good in the world 🌎 from cath Thomas in the uk
Maybe pa should try and get the pole thru on its own and try to pack it up by waggling or vibrating the pole to loosen it up first.
Gloves on, gloves off... great job team
Hi hope your well love from England

When you watch the blocked drain high pressure water jetting people, they often put through a very small initial nozzle, to break through, and allow water through, which helps to wash away the mud and smaller debris, so the hole gets bigger. Then they put through the next size one, and eventually the big ones. Perhaps using the wonderful pole extensions, with the front end blocked, or even with a pointed screw on end, and pushing it along and through the bottom, where the water might flow, you might be able to do similar ? I had the feeling that possibly you were tamping it into an ever more solid barrier.. hope not
Hi guys. 11.15 am Sunday morning in South Australia. Every time you both pushed that rod I was there pushing with my phone. Sorry I can't help more but I fell over yesterday morning and landed on my left knee so sore ++. Lucky though at 65 I didn't break anything, this time. Had 3 breaks in last 4yrs. Keep up the good work and good to see dad out there with you. Seems he is as smart at improvisation as my dad was. ❤

Those ole pesky floods good morning from North Carolina
diva!
the best solution would be one of those bar segmented bar things, and then one bar with the plate on the end, and then another with a good hook on it. push the bar through, then on the far side put the one with the plate, and on the other side the one with the hook, and then use a come-along tied to a tree to pull it through. come-alongs are a huge force-multiplier and what my dad used to use to bring the game he hunted to his truck, like huge elk and moose.

Dad said he has something similar he will be using in the future, good idea 😊
Well you certainly don't need to pay for a gym membership with the workouts you are getting on these culverts!
I saw a guy use a long drill to make holes in a beaver dam once - if you could combine the length of that multi pole gadget with a wide drill head and a bit of spinning power you might get through some of these dirt/mud/leaves/stick clogs pretty easily. Once you have made a hole or 2 with the drill it would be much easier to thread that pole gadget and just push the rest of the material through the pipe.

That’s a good idea, dad has been thinking about putting screws through the wood piece so it would hopefully tear the debris. Then hook up his grinder on the handle so it would spin the pole.

@@culvertsandmore Good luck! 👍🏼
I have seen people use an old tire that had a cable tried around the tire and fished one end of the cable through and pulled the tire through the culvert to pull everything out. However, you will have to use a come along hooked to a tree or a wrench to pull the tire tire through, just a thought. May not be easy.
It would be really cool to get some footage of these different locations during or after a rain while they are gushing. Or clogged. 🤷🏻♂️

We did have a video a while back during a flash flood that showed these areas under water.
You all work as a well oiled machine
You should call that tool the "Dam Ram"
Watching you guys I had a thought... which might be dangerous, but... When you use that long pole and were pushing against the block, you are pushing everything INTO whatever blocked it. If you started from the other side (the exit) you could try to push things OUT of the blockage. Which might just loosen everything enough to be able to then pull it out from the entrance side.

Good advice, that one is a hard one to fix. Hopefully in the future we can try again

from someone who could never do it but if it is that clogged then maybe run the pipe through without the board on the end a few times to break through the jam then attach the board. easier to poke 6 or 7 small holes before going for it. But you guys are knocking it out the park
You are all doing great work. That is hard work. Wondering if you would attach a potato rake to a long handle so you can reach inside the culvert to pull stuff out.
If you take home a load of stumps and branches every time, you can stay warm all winter

Our winter last about a week 😂
Try a small sledge hammes and a block of wood over the end of the pipe the drive it in. (Just a suggestion) You gave it a try and that is that counts l enjoyed your videos. (Mississi ppi Gilf Coast, USA
Why are you putting the debris right back into the flow? it should be removed so as to not block the downstream flow. you are doing some great work but i feel you are adding to the blockage.
