I first viewed Uncle Roger critiquing Auntie Hersha and it was hilarious. Then happened to watch him in her kitchen as she cooked fried rice. Had me crying with laughter. I love these two. I am eating rice for the last 26 years, 2-3 times a day....and in my household, my neighbouring households, and the restaurants where I witnessed rice preperation among all the restaurants I've been to, strain rice. Rice cooker is for lazy and unskilled people here....and for an exotic biriyani, you'd need some excellent basmati rice, which you'll need to cook 70-75 % before straining. The rest is cooked after mixing the spices through steaming.

This guy is so ignorant. I know it’s deliberate but it’s really not funny. I am from Hong Kong so I know he is trying to imitate a low-brow humour style popularised by Stephen chow. Maybe funny in the 1980s but not anymore . If this is what asian comedians do in the West I hang my head in shame.

People like it because it's better to laugh 'with them' than 'at them'....but imagine if a white dude made the same jokes....would he also be hilarious like this guy?

That fake Hong Kong accent is fucking annoying too. I saw him in other interviews and he is perfectly capable of speaking proper English. Why speak in such a horrible Hongkie accent?
