Hey Sony, ask Bear Grylls to do the same mountain-climbing challenge as well. You can promote Uncharted 4 with him!
As a climber and a gamer this is just the best mash-up ever. I've been playing Uncharted 4, the climbing in the game is by far easier than my climbing in real life! I'm stoked though on how some things are similar.

I mean... as a climber and gamer of course it’s easier to climb and hold onto shear cliffs in game... besides games with no climbing in them, is this ever not the case?

Maybe soomed in super HD 4k cameras. Did you see how they could do both birds eye view and a zoomed out shot

It probably was his friend shown in the video at the start, which I guess used rope and other security measures while climbing and filming.

+PanCostyCrown it's real. check out alex honnold (for example sending three big walls in yosemite or el sendero luminoso), dean potter (yosemite and utah), ueli steck (alpine and himalaya walls solo) and many more
there are strategic points on the mountain for climbing, like the game kkkk
just turn the video upsidedown you're at the top no need to risk your life lol
