I agree. Perfect size for a perfect watch. I saw a short video recently (probably a troll) of some watch aficionado saying people buy the Cartier Santos because they can't get a Rolex lol. I'm thinking dude, the current Santos is more beautiful than any Rolex I've seen, that's why I want it instead of a Rolex.

I know people who own so many really luxury brands, but they live in their mom's house. I own a house, drive a Lexus, and I do buy stuff *gtdupe* to put money in my pocket.

I love that you shoot your videos in 4K. So many other content creators only record in 1080p and you can easily keep my attention by having high quality videos.

Really, really enjoy your videos. Couple of thoughts . . . Use the soft Cartier pouch for your bracelets when you travel. It’s perfect for that. Regarding the “croc effect” leather. Cartier only uses authentic alligator. Yes, the deployant clasp is solid gold. No plating at Cartier. Regarding availability. I’ve seen both sizes of solid Gold Santos de Cartier’s in person at two Watches of Switzerland Boutiques. So I’m surprised that Cartier wouldn’t have them readily available. Perhaps that’s a sales line to increase desire? Just a thought. Lastly, keep up the great work, your videos are so interesting. You’re a great curator of all the things I like!

The medium size is really nice and tbh the yellow gold is super nice, was so surprised it’s not listed online the last years. total Gordon gekko vibes. Such a classic design but with a modern touch. Really considering getting the skeleton.

Well done, It's a very fine watch...and looks it! I have the medium size two-tone Cartier de Santos which I wear with a Cartier navy blue croc strap and the deployant strap. It looks great and it is very refined. I give the bezel a very gentle rub now and again with a jewellers cloth to keep the micro scratches in check....but it is not a daily wearer for me. Your gold metal deployment clasp is 18ct gold...as is the remainder of the watch. A success story!

I think the soft red pouch is good for travelling. The hard red case is good for home. When in a suitcase, the pouch occupies less space.

I follow you on TikTok and am genuinely surprised with how chill and down to earth you seem. Guess there’s a stigma of people that enjoy luxury items and showcase them. The silver Santos is on my must buy list for this year.

Beautiful. I have the Santos 100 in yellow gold in the medium, but only on the crocodile strap.

Gold wears large, the medium is perfect for 90% of people as is the case for you. The deployment on the croc strap is solid 18k gold and the strap is genuine croc, it may have changed but Cartier used to source their leather or exotic straps from Hermes. Cartier does gold so beautifully it does not look flashy but instead reeks of old money class. I am not sure with the quick release straps but Cartier offer a myriad of colours for straps, a deep great or Bordeaux would look stunning as well! It looks wonderful on your wrist, congratulations! I have several vintage Cartiers and they always get the most positive comments from other people.

Dude! I just picked up my brand new Santos yellow gold a few hours ago. They gave me the bottle of the champagne to take with me. I wish they would have also served me a bottle in the store. I got the Large but for me its not too big and gaudy. I'm 6'2" and fit with thin wrists but still it doesn't look overly huge on me. Its my 1st solid gold watch and it does feel heavy. I think the weight will take a little getting used to. Im a little paranoid about banging it and scratching it, but I know thats inevitable. Now I need to find somewhere fancy to go to wear it.

It is notorious for being a scratch magnet (unless perhaps if really looked after). Most people who own it accept scratches as an inevitability

I said it on insta, but I’ll say it again (just for that leather strap 👌🏼) congratulations! A beautiful piece and that leather band looks great with a dark long sleeved top on. You’re making me think maybe I don’t need to wait for an XL and a large may be fine for me. I have chicken legs for wrists after all 😂
