Thanks a lot. Regards from Barcelona SPAIN
Hi, if i already have subwoofer, is it good to pick edifier p12?
wonder if the p17 are better?
hi, and congratulations for the video! I wanted to ask if these speakers are suitable for a 5.1 home cinema system .. that is, I would like to install them as rear speakers!
where can I get the mixer from ?
Did the MB42X go up in price? Are they cheaper in the US because on Amazon Australia they are USD$205 while the P12 are USD$75.

Fot that difference of price...no. In Mexico it's the same thing (200dls MB42x vs 85dls p12)
Poor choice of music c to test speakers
The Edifiers, like all speakers, need some run in time to develop their sonic potential - unfortunately this is not reflected in most reviews - and this one is no exception.
I see the active version of the speakers in the background. Do the passive speakers have the same audio quality as the active ones? After I've bought the active version for my computer, I'm so impressed by the sound so I want them on my stereo system too (which requires passive speakers).

They don't have 1280t passive speakers, next lineup from the p12 are the p17 ;)
Should I buy an amplifier or can I use it with my sound card?

You need an for the p12, they are passive speakers and will require something to power them, lepai 2020 is a pretty decent 2 channel amp
How do these speaker + lepai amp compares to the R1280 you're using in your PC?

You know, it's interesting 🤔 alot of the times even if the speakers are of same specs.. what really sets them apart is the amp. I thought lepai amp did a great job, allowing me to control treble and bass, also a clean sound.. in comparison, they are very similar, difference is hairline.mm but if I had to pick.. I'd go with R1280 since amp is built in and I wouldn't have to worry about an extra unit around my desk

@@sazzad_hossain.s Yeah. Definitely, the amp makes total difference. Really cool that, even though there is a minimal difference, you'd rather get the powered one. I'm wondering that, if it's similar, maybe a little bit better, for almost the same price of the passives + a reasonable chi-fi amp, if I get the latter, at least it'd be easier for upgrades. Thanks a lot for your answer!

@@joaomarcuspm That's for sure!
Tested it with Fosi Audio BT20A-S 2X100 Watts. It has super good result. I wouldn't buy the powered Edifier R1280DB Powered Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers. The built-in amp is crappy
I don't like bass reflex speakers, which I consider old-school design. We live in a high-efficiency era where power is far cheaper than before. So no reason to boost speaker low frequencies to save amplifier power which result in resonance. For this speaker comparison, the rear vent in Micca speakers (that I don't have) is preferable to Edifier's that I have.
you need a better amp bro
