I was lucky enough to experience a pair of those once back in 2006 when I went to High Water Sound and Jeff took me to a customers place for a listen. The customer had a pair that he said belonged to Herb Reichert. Great stuff.

I’m not an unboxing type, but I was spell bound by these beautiful mono blocks. It was like unwrapping the best Christmas or birthday present could ever hope to receive. It’s the only ever unboxing video that held my attention with batted breath. Thanks John.

Beautiful! I sincerely wish your upcoming 845 push-pull amp will inherit the same look. It's the classic.

Ive absolutely always wanted to own a pair of Nori’s amps or any stereo amp if he built one , basically anything from Nori…😊I knew a few Cats in the big app that knew him personally, that told me he stopped building! Hope that he does with you like you had mention ! His Gear is legit legend!

Gotta say, not a fan of unboxing videos... However, this one was highly enjoyable! Would be so cool for production models to be packed the same way:) Would really add to the handmade “feel”. That, and would feel like the money spent on these was going straight to sound :) If they sound half as good as they present, they will be stunning. Very happy for you! You must be thrilled to have brought this product back to the world. Will likely never be able to own, but I’m always happy to witness excellence being given life.

Wow John. I am surprised you handled the tubes without gloves. That surprised me. I still do and handle headlight bulbs the same way.

Audio tubes aren't like high pressure light bulbs. They don't get hot enough for the oils from your fingers to risk causing the glass to crack. The only problem you risk from handling is wiping off the painted logos or other markings.

I’ve been handling tubes without gloves for years and never had one crack. Not sure where the idea that you need to wear gloves to handle tubes originated

Very nice! When’s the open house, John?🔥😂🔥 P.S. I’m waiting for Bottlehead to send me the kit for my first tube amplifier, a small SET rig. They’re waiting for their transformer supplier, who’s been working on the order this week. =So= exciting!

I got a pair of these but slightly bigger from Komuro San (high power PP 845). Sounds amazing but with super high efficient speakers , they have a hum issue ..I know Komuro is no longer active per se but would you happen to know someone who could help me with these ? I am in NY. Thanks John and great work with your channel
