UNBOXING: 1966 TV BatCave statue (FactoryEnt)
A full sized 66 Batmobile would be the ultimate collectible so this 1/50 scale recreation of the BATCAVE set from the 1966 Batman series will have to suffice as the penultimate collectible.

Batman Will Always Be Timeless ✨
Shades of my childhood. Batman twice a week, Green Hornet, Superman, the Munsters. Back when TV was fun.

HOLY WARPED CHILDHOOD,BATMAN! KOOL AS HELL!
I like that a lot 👍
That’s Awesome 🙌
Looks fantastic!
you are right it is a work of art. but for the price it should have included a batmobile . it is a wonderful work.
That's beautiful. Right in my childhood

I know what you mean
The tv show set was put together the same way in a building studio and not a real cave but this gives you a idea what it was like

The booklet that comes with this is amazing at explaining all that. With the saddest news being that if they hadn't struck the set immediately after wrapping the final episode we would've got another season because less than a week later another network expressed interest in the show - but the cost of rebuilding the cave killed that deal.
Cool Gary, will need a tour when I visit 😊
That is an awesome display.
It's very nice!! Pricey but nice
go gary you are the man.
That is so cool!👌😎👍
i love this...
Outstanding!
So cool!! Kapow! Bam! Zap!
🖖😎👍Very cool and very nicely done looks great and the Batmobile makes it even nicer indeed 👌.

Oddly the 1/50th scale batmobile doesn't come with it, but Hallmark came out with the 66 batmobile ornament that Christmas and in 1/50th scale so it worked out...

Awesome Collectables
You need to make the round floor electric and turn by itself now.
The bat cave awesome
Very cool
Where did they change? Is there a split level bat changing room, because these things are starting to bunch.
Fantastic but they need to maybe use the 1/43 scale Batmobile looks so much better than the 1:50 th

Pretty Cool where did you get this at?
way too cool
Wish they would reproduce the corgi bat mobile.
Nice video. I am not sure I would pay $900 for it. What scale Batmobile is that?

1/50th. Same as the set. Turns out the Hallmark Christmas Tree ornament was the same size as the Hot Wheels car.

Totally cool! Is there a other mine shaft tunnel on the other side of the atomic reactor?
@thegarydavidson
Жыл бұрын
Nope. There's a door back there (presumably Alfred's elevator) but it doesn't open. The "other" side is the walls of the cliff. Maybe, one day, they'll create a model of Wayne Manor and the batpoles can line up.

@@thegarydavidson on the left side of the reactor there was a mine shaft thet was later used by king tut to penetrate the batcave but on the right side if the reactor there was another mine shaft tunnel at least with the live action set.

@@3dartistguy - cool, the booklet with the numbered certificate talks about how often minor tweaks were done to the set and how they had a hard time nailing down the definitive version. Even the consoles around the Batcave changed from episode to episode as they were rentals from the props pool and had been used on sub movies and the likes for years.

@@thegarydavidson actually they showed up a lot on Irwin Allen productions like Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Lost in Space, Time Tunnel, and even Land of the Giants i guess becuase they were all produced at 20th Century Fox at the time. but again, you dont see a secondary mine shaft tunnel on the right side of the reactor?

Can't have everything. Where would you put it?
im still wondering how bruce wayne managed to install a atomic reactor under his house. btw...i think that the tv show is the only place where the power supply for the batmobile is openly stated ("atomic batteries to power....turbines to speed"...). did i miss it for later versions?

i have no idea. Are there any Bat-Scholars reading this who could answer that?
900$ ????? Are you serious, I thought 350, tops .

It's a massive statue with lots of detail and weighs a lot. I doubt even something a third this size would be that cheap.
Worthless because of not being in 1/24-25. 1/50th? Ungood!
@thegarydavidson
Жыл бұрын
I doubt anyone could lift a 1/24th scale up. The box was heavy enough at 1/50th and the statue almost too large for any of my displays.
Can you add a recharge hose for the the Batmobile Seen this episode kzread.info/dash/bejne/fYB70sazka_Jj5M.html

cool, but not worth $905. you don't even get a bat mobile with it. HOLY RIP OFF BATMAN!

Batmobile's are a dime a dozen. The cave however isn't a toy. It's a solid and heavy, lighted statue, literally a piece of art. To each their own, but I've spent hours just enjoying the ambiance of this thing. It's gorgeous!

yes you are right it a work of art . but it should have came with a bat mobile for the price. and no its not a toy.
That is kind of pricey for what it is.Batman was fun as a kid.......My lady would beat me for wasting hard earned money on something like that.plastic crap.Oh well......go play with your Barbies too.
