z Also I just realized the people you’re talking. about are Sissy, Lila, and Raymond (I thought you were talking about the picture of the three guys that looked like bad guys/the people at the commission). I think Sissy might be Vanya’s love interest, Lila may be Diego’s love interest, and we actually haven’t really seen Raymond in any pictures so I don’t know what to think of them.

When Vanya smiled at Allison during the concert, I did as well. Just those 2 glances showcased that the relationship between the two was still stable and not dysfunctional in comparison to the other siblings. But then, just when you thought Luther couldn’t get any more unlikeable. HO BOY! He literally charges on stage, setting Vanya off and single-handedly caused the apocalypse. Again. Rather than feel scared, I actually *facepalmed* at that moment. People all have their least favourite character, but for me, it’s always gonna be Luther. I mean, I understood Leonard because of his past and why he did what he did and I even understood why the commission exists; but Luther not only strangles Vanya unconscious and locks her up after finding out that she slit Allison’s throat (unintentional due to the fact that she just realised that she had powers and had no idea how to control them), but also refusing to listen to everyone else (even Allison who takes the blame and tries to have her released). To make matters even worse, it’s the same soundproof cage that Reginald locked Vanya up in, causing her to snap and smash the academy to pieces. And rather than realise that it’s his fault, apologise and make amends with her, he basically tries to do it “Old-school” and goes Leroy Jenkins on her. Wow.

You're willing to forgive Klaus for being the reason Leonard got to know about Vanya's powers in the first place but not Luther for making one bad decision? All of their childhoods were fucked up, so treat their mistakes equally

I know he did a horrible thing, and I don't agree with his choices at all, but I kind of get it, because to me, it seemed like he was being overprotective of Allison. Even tho it was an accident, Vanya cutting Allison's vocal cords triggered Luther to separate them from each other, whatever the cost. And in the concert, even tho we knew Allison was safe from Vanya, he didn't, all he could see is that the woman he loves is alone, in front of the women that almost killed her, and is going to cause the apocalypse (which was basically his fault, along with everyone else in the family, not just Vanya's) Don't get me wrong, I highly disagree with Luther's choice, but even after all he did, I still don't dislike him for it. Although him locking up Vanya was a big no-no for me, don't you dare do that again Luther. TL:DR: Luthor was way too overprotective of Allison, which blinded him to do horrible things to Vanya.

@@sahejsodhi5909 no idiot we shouldn’t treat their mistakes evenly, luther admitted that he mad so many mistakes towards vanya for a reason.. and her killing pogo was unforgivable but you’re not putting yourself in her shoes… she was lied to her whole life and all she did was get insulted by her siblings for the simple fact that she didnt have powers they even stood away from her for that exact reason.. and in the present it’s all the same and none of them changed she was on emotion suppressors her whole entire life and she didn’t know how to deal with all the emotion that got built up inside of her she was lied to her whole life and to find out allison did the deed of making her forget was unforgivable to her she was blinded by rage and didnt care for allisons reason behind it even though they were 4 years old.

Actually they were ranked in a weird order cause Luther was 1 cause he was obedient and Diego was 2 cause he tried hard and train the most. Also Luther would be above Diego in ur ranking cause Diego's powers is just breathing underwater or throwing knives (in the show)

You might consider giving 'Preacher' a try. It's got mystery, gore, horror, action, comedy, and great characters.

I just seen the entire season 1 for the first time. I could be wrong but i don't think that they are going back to when they where kids and that would fix the problem to fast and they not going to write the show like that. Remember that the time traveling boy turned in about when he went to meet his older brothers and sisters. He just can't calculate time travel good and that is the side effect of him doing it. Last time he time traveled he used the brief case from the Time Travel HQ to go back again. Now when he uses his own powers at the season final he turns his family into kids again. Meaning its him not that they are going to go back to when they was kids. To be honest they not that organized and smart in this show. Love the react .....Ken

Funny thing is, that since the creator of the comic book doesn't figure out some shit yet, like how Ben died atc. 2nd season is pretty much open to all kinds of fun stuff. I hope that 2nd season will focus on the child versions of Academy (meaning, full season with the child actors).

First of all, speak for yourselve and not others please. 2nd, the good being the fact that they would be able to influence the past and Hargreves himself, stopping Ben from dying, Luther from lossing his body and most of his strengh, Alison from loosing her voice, Vanya from being side bared by Hargreeves, they would prevent Hargreveses death, Pogos death, Mothers death and the whole worlds destruction. Since they are going back to theire childhood bodies WITH the knowledge of theire older selves they have the power to make it all happen. Also just like Number 5 who traveled back in time, or actually even forward since he went from J. F. Ks. assassination to present day, he was thrown into his childhood body, and the finale of the first season implied that same rule for the rest of the family. But just like in the first season, all of that simply cant and WONT happen in 3 episodes, it would take a whole season if not more to actually resolve all this. So what good would it make? A lot of good, and it would hav one incredible impact on the story itself.

I understand why he did all that stuff but the problem here is that he paid no attention to what everyone said, he only did what he wanted to do, dismissing anything that went against his will and not thinking what he's doing or the consequences it can have. That's not a leader at all. That's why I dislike him. So I hope we get to see him improve that aspect of himself in the next season.

Aresty i don’t agree with his decision either. The only reason why I didn’t run on him is because the alternative that everybody else gave was pretty off the wall. It is dangerous as hell to let somebody that strong and unstable to just walk around like she ain’t slit somebody’s throat. If one of them would have gave a reasonable suggestion than I would’ve been more angry at his decision.

Here is a list of each's greatest weakness. Number 7, Vanya; over emotional. Number 6, Ben; suicidal depression. Number 5, Five; uncompassionate. Number 4, Klaus; self-involved. Number 3, Allison; manipulative. Number 2, Diago; Fearful vainty. Number 1, Luther; Loyalty. In Luther's defense, he could have snapped Vanya's neck as soon as he got his arms wrapped around it. But, like a Superman, He applied slow pressure to pacify a potential threat. So! he could get more answers, before passing judgement. That's leadership.

Not good leadership in any way. He let his emotional attachment to Allison get in the way of rational decision-making. He didn't "get more answers", he already dubbed her guilty before she could speak. Incapacitating her COULD be seen as a smart move, however showing how much lack of trust or compassion (as shown by him locking her in a sound-proof box without hearing a word she had to say) you have in the person who wants to explain herself and what's happened, and who has INCREDIBLE power, is the dumbest decision he could've made. In no way was his decision to choke her out and then lock in her in a box, without hearing what she had to say, a display of good 'leadership'.

@@S1INS, you make a wonderful argument. People with good leadership skills are still, human. Leaders must rely on other members of the team. Luther did what He COULD do without a team. And with His strength he could have snapped Her neck, as soon as he touched Her(if He, was so "over emotional" as you stated). But... His "loyalty" to family, prevented that. Vanya is alive because Luther has "self-control". Which none of the other members of, the Umbrella Academy, had. No matter how you put it, self-control is good leadership. Examples. #7, killed all the nannies cuz she didn't want to eat breakfast. #6, killed Himself because He doesn't have proper coping skills. #5, got lost in time because of impatience. #4, self-medicates because he doesn't have proper coping skills. #3, marriage(life)was ruined because of laziness. #2, couldn't have a meaningful relationship because He was so angry at the world for His upbringing. #1, ruined his life because of his loyalty to his father and "The Mission"! I feel, we will disagree on this subject matter, till the end of time. But I understand and respect your position. However, I will end this with a question! If "He dubbed Her guilty" because She hurt Alison, why didn't He "over emotionally" snap Her neck!?!? Like, Man of steel's, Superman to Zodd!?!

Plus he didnt want to kill her but that didnt make his decision any justifiable. He was just dumb in that moment and locked up someone who wasnt emotionally stable or had control over her powers instead of listening to her because of his feelings for Allison smh

Yes sure, blame Luther instead of the person who thinks it's okay to murder their family and destroy everything because their feelings got hurt. Luther messed up by putting her in there sure, but it's not like something else wouldn't have triggered her at some point later down the line. She literally sliced her sister's neck open because of an argument. All the siblings are messed up in their own way and they all suffered because of their upbringing. They were raised together sure but so are kids in orphanages and I'm sure some of them crush on each other.
