That mystery boat was by far my favorite. The paint job on it was perfect!! Never seen anything bending together so well when it comes to a boats livery.

There's so much real estate to cover, I'll bet the bill for the chemicals alone would make most people shake their heads in wonder.

Those 450Rs are cool outboards but nothing beats 3000hp in inboard 572s supercharged. Raw sound of pure power. Seem to plane alot better too.

The big block V8 inboard motors are just a different class. The outboards have always played second fiddle and sound awful.

My boss owned a 37’ Criscraft with 3 Chevy 454s and bought a Baja with 4 Yamaha XTOs with 450hp each. He felt the same and got rid of the Baja. Three big block V8s just have a roar and performance that outboards just can’t match. Don’t get me wrong, the Baja was probably more high tech and sophisticated, but for straight line offshore boating the power and ride of inboards can’t be beat

@@joelg34 lol Yes! I had forgotten the Miami Vice thing. Those blown 454's have a place all their own. He also has a smaller one with an Olds 455 in a jetboat that is a shit ton of fun to ride. It's what I ski behind in the summer.

Its true.... they perform decently but its just absolutely boring. Everytime a big block V8 boat shows up youre gonna be a joke with those boring ass outboards.

Boats like this are awesome wild ride adrenaline rush fun for about 30 minutes but........... you run out of adrenaline and they are torture. I have had boats most of my life and setting out on a day out or weekend out is always exciting but the best memories are when you are cruising slow or at anchor fishing and have time to enjoy the water and your boatmates. Everyone may have different dreams of what they think will make them happy but everyone is human and after that 30 minutes these boats don't have as much to offer. I guess its like trying to convince someone that expensive two seater sports car is cool for sure but you can't bring your friends or family with you when you go somewhere.

I'm with you, deep impact is a cruiser. If I wanted a V8 inboard it would be a blown river/lake kit.

i was weaving through traffic on 95 south of orlando w/ one of these guys. they drive on the highway the way they drive on the water.

I know those OuterLimits and Cigerettes are more bad assed but I really love those Midnight Express center console boats with the 4 or 5 outboard motors. The center consoles look more party friendly

Yep, I believe Stu and FPC strongly encourage they wear them on the poker runs.

These videos help me remember all the fun times with my dad and his formula 272 sr1 with twin 454 making 650 a side it sad we couldn’t use it for 3 years and are plan was to get it out this season but it didn’t work out

Favorite of the powerboats. Skater- great lines and very fast hull.

The info on the boat and power helps satisfy those of us out here lusting after these beauties.

There's an all-white 52 in poker run with full canopy on youtube. Don't know the power but I'll guess twin staggered Merc 1350s. Boat is running with both hatches removed.

One of my Favorit Booats are the „Skarer/32“ because that Roaring Powerful SOUND !! Regards from the Snowy Arosa / Swissalps !!

Got to go out on a 34 ft Baja a few times. Twin 502 blown mercs. Fastest we got on the lake was 96mph on the gps but it felt more like 150. The first time was such an adrenaline dump, fun but scared shitless at the same time lol.

i was out spearfishing off of Islamorada last weekend and i saw a bunch of these boats running back from the poker run. let’s just say my little 25ft contender could not keep up 😂

I've owned a 36' Sunseeker Martinique with twin 454's and an '82 Carrera Elite 21 with a Chevy small block inboard. I swore I would never own another boat once I sold both but after watching this video... ...meh, I know better 😅

Outboards for the win, nothing like having a 20 foot Allison with a merc 2.5 crushing a blown big block boat

Cigarette 42x & 38 Top Gun look the best in action.The twin hullslook like they struggle in rough seas

Nothing like smoking a cigar and drinking whiskey whilst cruising on your powerboat on a western sunset

For practical reasons I will always be an outboard guy but there’s nothing like that big block sound

Love the sound of those inboards!

Reminds me when I was a kid in North Miami Beach living down the street from maul lake Marina .Fishing with my brothers watching the new Apache and cigarette boats being tested .

V hulls will have a cabin with a head and bed. You can do plenty for a weekend on one. My 28 Cigarette has been used plenty for weekend sandbar parties and trips.

Favourite boat?? Cig 38 TG and Apache 41 just about equal.... would be hard to chose between them! Vee hull always. The cats can go play in the kitty litter. Give me a big vee any day.

These boats all look and sound amazing. The $$ involved in knee-buckling.

Heard there was a cool boat parade in key west that day with all those killer power boats..

1:50 seconds in... "oh snap, look it's that dude who videotapes boats coming in and out. He's totally recording us and we're going to be on KZread, everybody wave!" lol for real though, I can only imagine what that sounded like (approaching, passing, screaming away) from their aural vantage point. No wonder they turned to look at what was surpassing them so quickly. Good stuff!
