I think you need to clarify that your content is not lost if you don't resubscribe, but subscribe again later. Yes you won't get a refund if you stop and don't go back, but if you stop and go back all your content will still be there

Yeah sorry the word "lose" gives off the bad vibe, But I think it's still fitting/correct in the context I said that you lose access to the content if you don't resubscribe. Which you do. But it's not gone, good one for pointing that out :)

This is the video we all needed! At least I did haha. I love when peoppe act like iracing graphics arent good. Meanwhile I hop on and see the textures on the ground and the look of everything and go wow wtf this is way better then people say. I love love the way it feels and looks on the tarmac.

@@ziraga this is not wholly correct. you don't get your money back if you stop, but if you stop and then subscribe again in the future your content will still be there. iRacing state "Once you purchase the license for content you have the rights to the content in perpetuity."

I didn't lose any of my iracing content after a 10 year absence. I was really surprised actually.

I wonder the amount of paid stuff you had then, that's free / legacy, and now that I think about it I wonder what the difference was between 10 years ago and now (Grip feeling,ffb,weather lol) wow must be sweet coming back

@@JACKZERYT I did have quite a lot of content. The Sim has evolved a lot! FFB is vastly improved but biggest change is the amount of players/competition on their now compared to then! Back then I would be really competitive, when I returned to the service I still had my A license but quickly went down to B due to the skill level being so high now! Another big change is the gear being used, I had a belt driven wheel base and the got a change to purchase an ECCI 7000 from Barry Rowland the KZread guy, Google that base it’s a beast but it was still weaker than a Moza R5 now lol.

I stopped for 2 yesterday and iracing recognizes my email but pass word reset instructions it won't reset..lost60trks and50cars

That Black Friday comment is awesome too know, thanks. I got a year at the 40% off but I will definitely renew on black Friday. Getting the 1 year for 40% is no different than buying any other video game actually cheaper than most now, and you don't have to renew. I don't recommend iracing if you don't have a wheel and pedals though. Jack take a break buddy so many videos with your slow internet lol

It is difficult to kow how difficult it is to reach the rank C. I have no problem to know what car I would like to drive; - Porsche gt4 Cayman - Porsche gt3 992 -F3 -F4 With these cars, I won't be frustrated, but will I get there? At the moment I play raceroom and racecraft on ams2 where I can drive these cars online. Maybe one day, I will go on Iracing. But to know I will have to pay so much money and I am not even sure I will be able to drive the cars I want, it makes me hesitate. Great video again, very informative and enjoyable

Thanks for the lovely insight and don't worry you'll make it, it's a matter of when, not if you progress, trust me it's only a game at the end of the day, yes there's wild competition on it, but there's ALL levels of skill :)

You DO NOT loose your content if you let your subscription lapse, and renew again later.

Oh it's a serious price tag, but when you've raced GT7, AC, ACC and F1 , and one is done racing with clowns it does offer good, clean racing
