Thank god I hated how “numb” the truck felt. Especially compared to the B car that feels way more “intuitive” at slip

I feel like anytime there's more finesse and car control involved, the better, more authentic, that it makes. It requires patience as a driver.

@@Brandeino True, but self spins will rise. Plus, with the new efficacy of side drafting in this aero model, we're going to see lots and lots of idiots try it and hook or netcode people into the nether realms.

More speed and off throttle time will always make racing better. May actually try out the trucks again for the first time in years

I am so happy the trucks aren’t ridiculous aero wise like the next gen’s though. It took me a while to get into the next gen cars because you damn near have to stand on the brake just to get the thing to turn in

​​@@alexcoxe4303 last week testing for a league race at nordschleife i ran the truck in the 7:20 range. A lot faster than i expected but someone with better talent could probably get closer to 7 flat im sure.

Kinda sounds like how you drive the late model stocks with the truck now. Really gentile on entry(I almost try to keep it straight on some tracks) and then get the mid corner grip and rotation, and then shoot completely straight out of the corner. The stocks I think have much more grip in general though

i dont know if it was just me, but i feel that the street stocks are really loose on entry and tight on exit if you dont have correct amount of throttle compared to what it was before

How does it feel at plate tracks? If they now have more side force, side drafting should be more of a thing… unless they didn’t model it.

I've never liked racing the trucks and with this update, I'll avoid them like the plague. I don't like loose cars.

I haven't tried it yet, but a lot of my guys really aren't happy with the truck...looks okay to me though...

everyone raced trucks due to the fact they were good and felt good. Now they made them shit to get more money on other cars. Nobody asked for this it is a balance act for sales. Why the hell they do the shit they do. Go race in real life and see how dumb this is.

I think people liked racing them because they were easy to drive, sturdy enough to get minor damage with no issue, and they produced close racing. They were TOO easy to drive. Some real idiots thinking they're fast cuz they smash throttle and burn tires. Hopefully, it's more punishing now and people might actually have to use their brain to be faster.

I have no idea what the trucks are like to drive in real life. I did really enjoy how they felt before the update, but I haven't tried the new build yet 😅
