Ended up watching this since I have a strange issue. I’m not sure if anyone else experienced something like this. With very powerful PC and RTX4080, my iRacing started behaving very strange since April this year. Randomly I have kind a FPS issues, but not in the presented rate, but just randomly the background lags as I’m turning the car. Car itself has top performance in gems of the FPS and graphics, but track and background is making issues. It’s very random from session to session, I have low ping, super fast internet, all connected via LAN, all drivers up to date. Basically I use this PC only for iRacing.

Dude, sim racing has become a kind of personal therapy to not focus so much on that dark and sad part inside my head that I don't like (if you know what i mean) And sim racing has helped me a lot

That thing you described of realxed driving happened to me like 2 weeks ago. I was out fo sims for a couple of weeks, and I went to this track, and I was pretty much chilling cause I was drving with a monitor instead of VR, and I am always like 10 or more seconds faster in VR. But the thing is that driving like super chill, I could beat my best time in Vr by 5 seconds. I was not aware of where did all that time came from.

Track limits at T3 here need to be adjusted. You are taking the actual racing line it should not be an off track.

I hope you get the change to try out the Moza R16 v2, Jack. I have this base myself and am very content with it. Lots of Nm's, although I keep mine set at 12Nm in the Pithouse software which is plenty enough for me. Moza has some lovely wheels as well. My favourite is the round RS V2 which just feels so heavy and solid. Perfect for a base like the R16! By the way, I don't know how you manage to do it, racing, talking and reading messages at the same time. Quite impressive.

Thanks for the help got mine FINALLY working w/out NVIDIA! I did have to stop the video and look at all your settings on the .ini page, so just make sure your numbers are like his everywhere *make changes accordantly for your own monitor if not the same* and it works like a charm! Strat racing some dirt trucks on IRacing and ill see ya out there. lol nice job thanks again!

Love it! Mine is getting close. I've got the simagic stuff. Just ordered the fx pro. But I'm running the ultimate. I've tried almost everything now and nothing feels as fluid and smooth as simagic does now. Idk what they are doing but I even prefer it over the new dd+. Just the ffb delivery is different and fits me more like the bounce and snap it has. Moza is wild def a raw feeling but not as polished.

@JACKZERYT for sure! I went all out on this setup man. Crazy because I'm coming from the newer dd+ but for peace of mind I felt switching and spending a little more in the short term wss worth it. Already with simshops customer service and how smooth everything has gone I feel it was the right choice. It's why I'll always reccomend simagic and simshop now. Dude they even answered my emails on the weekend at 12am east coast which they are also east coast lol. Never has any customer service ever done that. Its yet to take them more then 10 minutes to reply to emails. I emailed them 20 times working things out for my questions I had and boom spot on every time.

@@Flexium_GG I def agree on can't see how anynody can pay 600 for there flagship wheel. It doesn't mske sense the whole construction doesn't for that price. I mean there build when using an extension is enough to tell you what you need to know about moza. The motor and the casing can't handle the extra pressure it makes crazy noises like clunking noises as if it's breaking.

There's a lot to learn from this on preserving speed always. His lines are so precise at just maintaining as much speed as possible, and his wheel movement is so quiet. It's like he lets the car do the least work possible to achieve speed. Really cool to see.

Dude just throes the car into corners getting all the limits of grip lol. He makes me realize most of us turn in to little out of fear of snapping or losing grip. He's found that perfect edge where he can just turn in like crazy with just the right speed and come out crazy fast. Instead of doing what alot of us do taking the longer line trying to hold speed when we should be lifting off a little more turning in a little tighter and coming out that much faster.

What did you have trouble with?, did you turn off all of the heavy usage things I outlined? And restarted your iRacing? This guide is to help you understand what switches to turn off. But if it's too complicated, you can always just turn everything to low. Might be the safest bet for ya, then in time try to turn on the things thst make the sim look better, but aren't as taxing on performance. Maybe then check back on this vid, and you may understand more. If you have any questions fire away, I'm here to help :)

Another huge thing that has helped me is looking at the rubber helps me find where to brake, how to take turns and optimal lines, and has more grip (typically)

Couldn't agree more. Also, i find that a newer driver wants to brake too late and compromise their exit. Learning a new track, i will always brake early and slowly shorten that distance, thus focusing on getting a good exit. Anyways just my thoughts. Keep em coming Jack
