The Duel rematch with Nightshade & Pauline at 32:30 is so fun to watch. Pauline has been very cocky about beating the gladiators so it is great to see Nightshade taking care of business and shutting Pauline up.

It was great seeing Paula back. The hottest babe of the series and it was nice to see her knock out the arrogant Pauline.

I am with you on Paula. Pauline was so cocky about beating the gladiators, she even embarrassed Jet by shoving her down in Powerball. Glad to see Nightshade shutting Pauline out in both duel events too.

The interview with Shadow was great. Came across as a really nice guy and not scary at all like his Gladiator persona !

Pauline should never have said she was better than the glads. Then she beats Falcon on tilt. Big mistake. She loses to Nightshade as retaliation. Then goes and winds her up again. Nightshade sorts her out again! She should have kept her mouth shut

Falcon & Pauline were the same size, but on Tilt, Pauline on the lower platform would be in the better position to win. Pauline actually pushed Jet down in Powerball & bragged about it to embarrass Jet. Glad Nightshade took her down twice in Duel to shut her up.

I love the way these are edited to go straight into the action. Also if I may say I usually watch these quite passively, never rooting for a particular contender. But I have never wanted someone to lose as much as I wanted Pauline to, and I’m glad she did. She was singularly unpleasant. The fact that she gave up once she realised she had lost confirmed it. Not only that, she talked over Paula’s shout out to the person who wasn’t well. Such a tantrum to give up when you have lost the eliminator. Even people 20-30 seconds behind have tried to finish. Throwing your arms at the camera like a baby.

Pauline was hot though, and her defined back looked like a chisselled work of art, I thought!!!!! Whereas I didn't like the looks of some of Paula Bisley's male supporters in the crowd.

Every event should have been Pauline vs Nightshade haha great battle. I had no idea that Nightshade was this formidable. Kindly like a female Shadow.

Nightshade was the Queen in Suspension Bridge & Duel from Season 2 to 3. Nightshade left the show in mid Season 4 I think and they kinda replaced her with Rio.

Nightshade was a problem in pretty much every event.

Maybe if Pauline wasn't so bloody obsessed with Nightshade then she might have done better on the other games lol.

After leaving Gladiators he developed a drug addiction and turned to a life of crime to pay for his habit. Since 2011 he had managed to sort himself out and beat the drug habit and now works a youth advisor.

There was also a time when a female contender had to pull out for something after a few games so they brought in the standby contender, a woman called Jo. To face the other original contender, also called Jo. lol. John Anderson had to specify their colour of outfit when telling them when to go at the start of the Eliminator!

Gary pushed Phil all the way in terms of points. He needed to pull off that win on Suspension Bridge to get a headstart. Odds are he would have won the Eliminator anyway because he was faster, but credit to Gary. He was game on the day. This was the show that made me believe Phil could go all the way. There was something about the way he elevated his game whenever he needed points.

15:03 He does look hammed here. I had no idea he was drunk in most of the early seasons. I only found out he had a drinking problem when he did an interview last year. You don't notice it when you're younger, but watching it back, you can see it. Shame, but I'm glad he sober up when he got older.

He caught some guy in season 1, caught REGAN in season 4 and caught 2 people in season 6 I think. There may be another one in there but usually wolf was put on the wall to be humiliated

he said well done at the start of the event to one contender, before they had even competed in any events, just on the introductions.

Pauline is the worst contestant in the entire series, making a thing with nightshade out of nothing and a sore loser too, pity!

Yeah I completely agree. You'd think given you've beaten other contenders to get on the show and got into the quarter finals that you would give it your best to complete the eliminator for your own sense of achievement. Never understood why she had so much beef with Nightshade though.

Not that I am in any way complaining but I note that we always get a few shots of Phil's mother but only on a couple of occasion did we get a shot of his girlfriend.
