@@bubbabean8860 She did not specify who were paid employees, the way i saw it she was even saying it about the police, people who worked at ECB and randos like famous supermodel Kate Moss. Anyone who spoke against her were randos or paid employees of Mr. Depps. I think she has just opened the door to another defimation court case, which could include her own solicitors comments too, also the book she is writing about the case/trial.

@@charlottemcfall2601 She intentionally speaks in this vague way but in the context of what she was saying it doesn't appear she was referring to those other people who testified. Also, recall in Elaine's closing argument she referred to Depp's actual employees who testified on his behalf. The police, Kate Moss and the "randos" were not paid for their testimony. The only people paid for their testimony were his experts just as her experts were paid for their testimony.

She does not respect confidentiality agreements. She signed one before but breached it. She lied and bragged about donating $3.5m to a children's hospital that has still yet to receive a dollar from her. To use an Amber horse metaphor: Johnny has to break her otherwise she will continue to haunt him with impunity. Then hopefully she will be in a position to seek redemption and accept the truth that she is currently denying.

During the trial it was mentioned a few times that her being called a liar triggers her, making her re-live the "abuse" and her "PTSD" gets worse... yet she keeps throwing herself in the public eye. Her behaviors do not match the words that fall from her mouth. I wish mainstream media would call her out, just like they would if it was a man publicly lying for his own gain. She shouldn't be allowed to do this, its sickening. "The verdict's message to victims of domestic violence is ... be afraid to stand up and speak out." That is a very dangerous message to put out there, and just like her testimony it is so far from the truth!

She keeps forgetting that she began this social media interest when she contacted TMZ. Hurting Johnny Depp was one thing, and it upset a lot of fans. What has really caused this to skyrocket is what she used to hurt Johnny Depp - the "me too" movement, created by sensitive fragile women who have really been hurt and abused by men in power. Amber has nearly destroyed this movement and its credibility - and this is why there is this overwhelming reaction to what she has done. If she could be incarcerated for having done this, she should be.

I have had an abusive childhood and an abusive first marriage. I have listened to some of Amber's recorded conversations. As a victim, knowing how cruel and dangerous abusers are, I would do everything to avoid confrontation with my abusers. I would not antagonise or confront my abusers because this would only my situation even worse. Many victims would not start to look for a fight with their abusers, only to receive a very good beating from them. It doesn't take much for abusers to enter into a rage against their victim. Abusers do this in order to control their victims because they are committing a crime against their victims. They want to make sure that their victims will never dare report against them. If Amber was a real victim? She would have done everything in her power to escape an abusive relationship and find herself a safe zone. She would not try to mock her abuser to humiliate him and expose him for the world to see. There are many people like myself out there who recognise what it means to have experienced abuse. That is why she is not being believed. I do believe that her father was abusive towards her. I don't know much about it and don't wish to know. But that to me explains her behaviour today towards her own ex partner. I have several brothers and sisters. We are all dealing with our trauma differently. At least one of my sisters can not stay in any relationship. She is very destructive and has destroyed other marriages because of it. I see this same pattern in Amber. She will not be able to admit the real problem. It doesn't help that some of the well wishers try to pander to her own delusion. The only way that anyone can help her is Amber.

I wonder if she is having a challenge with 'projection'; is she accusing the opposition of the things she and her team did? Certainly, after the week's hiatus AH's team stepped up their game by taking on board criticism that you could see on Social Media and dealing with it in the courtroom. And that's credit to her legal team. But are they assuming the Jury did the same? She then talks about JD's acting. Again, is it possible she's projecting HER acting on him? The biggest difficulty with her testimony, was how she could go from deep anguish to sullen contempt in milliseconds, almost as if the court said 'cut'. I wonder how many people who are recalling traumatic events so emotionally could stop so quickly.

I've seen this misunderstanding absolutely everywhere, but AFAICR Heard wasn't diagnosed with NPD - by any expert, on either side, both within the trial and beyond. Dr. Curry diagnosed Heard with borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder (which can overlap with but are distinct from NPD). Dr. Hughes determined Heard to have PTSD. Nurse Erin Falati testified Heard self-reported as to having bipolar disorder, ADHD, and generalized anxiety (as well as an eating disorder and codependency issues). The distortion of being the victim, the inability to admit to being wrong, the dynamic within the relationship itself - all of this makes sense within the context of untreated BPD (and, to a lesser extent, HPD) but that's not the same as NPD.

She is still acting as she did when on the stand, badly. Her attitude to the process was she only saw it from her side and could not see anything else. Her biggest problem was the credibility of her witnesses, who were piss poor. Her legal team were also working with very little evidence by the looks of how they went through then process. There was empathy on Depp’s side across the Lawyers and his expert witnesses were first rate. She knew what Johnny was like with the people around him, they told the truth as they saw it, even those who were not paid by Depp gave the same outlook on how Heards behaviour was. She picked the wrong team for the challenge she had in the main. I did think at the end of the trial she would fold and break down, but here she is back on the same track. The trial HAS been fair. She was taken seriously and was being taken seriously for years prior. As Emily Baker said, the LAW was on her side from the start, and at the beginning of the trial no one would blame a person for taking Amber’s side. But as the trial went on, as both the evidence and testimonies from both sides were subjected to more scrutiny, it became increasingly clear that the FACTS were on Johnny’s side. Another thing was that the witness that brought the most detriment to Amber’s case was Amber herself. As Camille said, they were able to use her own words against her in order to show that she’s been lying. The more and more lies that have been exposed, the less and less credibility her testimony had, to the point that you couldn’t trust the narrative she was trying to sell anymore. And to add to all that, she can’t even make the (rather stupid) argument that this trial has been unfair to women in general. She was represented by a legal team spearheaded by a female lawyer. While she wasn’t the leader of the team, the voice most heard from JD’s legal team was a female lawyer, and it was all presided over by a female judge.

Jude Regorgo, Well said. I didn't follow the trial and only reviewed the evidence because I was surprised by the verdict. I dug deep until I was utterly satisfied with the conclusions garnered from the FACTS. The evidence proved conclusively that AH had lied in her claims, that she had set out to defame Depp, and that she had acted out of malice. It is a very high bar to prove defamation, as they need to show intent - and the evidence was more than enough to prove it. I had also noted that the key players were all women: the key lawyers and the judge. It was important that Depp's team had a woman conduct the cross examination, so AH could not turn around and whine about being "bullied" by a man. She and her lawyers would not be able to play the "misogyny" card during the trial or in an appeal. When Elaine chose to go on her tour of talks shows to keep spreading proven lies, she lost any remaining sympathy she'd had for having such a terrible client. Elaine chose to become AH's lying flying monkey. In the end, the trial has been about a fight between women who lie and women who tell the truth. Those who still side with AH either never looked at the evidence, or have their own agenda in supporting a proven liar.
