You can not practice in UK directly after masters in dentistry (dental subjects) there. You still have to clear ORE or LDS.

Since UK has announced withdrawal from EU ,Uk is now going to introduce point based system so as to limit free movements. Are there any changes expected in the process of visa or ORE for overseas dentists? Is it now more difficult or it has no effect as such?

This will mainly help with the PR process. Point based system is in use in countries like Canada. But the ore exam needs to be cleared. Yes if we get pr through the points system then practicing as a dental hygienist would be easier. But nothing confirmed yet about the points based pr system. So for now the old pattern continues. Even after introduction we need to see the cut off in the system..

Yes, you can do masters without ore. But you can't practice there after masters. To practice masters is compulsory.

Majority countries dont recognise our degree so exam is compulsory in them.. I have not come across any country in Europe, North America, Oceania, Middle East which allow practice without exam.

You don't need any experience. But you should have your final degree. Provisional degree is not enough.

There are MSc programs in the UK. You can apply for them directly. Each university has their own requirements. But after completing the masters if you want to work you will have to clear ORE/LDS exam.

You can join tution if you want. You also need to study the following books. Pink book (you get the at Xerox book shops selling dental books near colleges) Past test 1000 mcqs Vander for physiology BD chaurasia Inder bir singh for embryo. The tip is to have your basics right and solve old question papers to get an idea..

You are not allowed to work on basis of passing ore 1.. to work as hygienist you need to just apply in their website egdc website with all your documents.. Few people take a tourist visa and join a course there to clear part 2.. some come back to india and prepare..

As explained in the video documents to be submitted include degree and 1600hrs so you can't give exams till you get your degree that is after internship completion.

No rule of waiting between ore 1 and 2. Depends on when next exam is conducted and whether you get a seat or not. Duration depends on time you take to clear the exams.

No you can't. it means you are restricted from doing a job as a dental hygienist/therapist but you can apply for ore and give those exams. Once you get a job you can shift your visa to work from spouse. To work as a hygienist or therapist you need the clinic to provide you work visa. This becomes expensive so they usually don't agree. The reason they do this is to prevent immigrants taking jobs of locals.

Masters can be done with ORE but you can't practice there till you complete ORE exam. Masters has no relation with ORE exams in UK. For applying for masters check various colleges like Manchester, kings and others, then decide subject then apply. Entire process for each individual university explained in their website.

Just find university and subject you like and apply to it individually. You can not practice there afterwards masters you still have to clear ORE or LDS exam. I don't know of scholarships.

No you have to directly apply. But you can't practice in UK after masters till you give ore..

Sir, is there any criteria of having work experience of 1600 hours before being registered in GDC?

Yes but this includes internship and work done in college.. 1600 means only 200 days of 8 hr practice.. usually internship is enough.. If you don't have the hrs can be easily achieved by having few months post college experience..

Dentistry is not just a skill set it's a mindset that you want to do the best treatment always.. if you do that dentistry is same in India or UK 🙂

I am a student and has a tier-4 visa, if I get my partner with dependent visa, so Is she(BDS-2 Years exp of practice in indian dentist clinic) has a possibility to study a course(ORE) in an university and can try to practice a dentistry..! I'll Thankful to your answer😊

Yes there are courses taught in UK to help train to pass ORE exams. She can join those.

If a person doesn’t pass part 2 & has 4 attempts left, do we have to fill the form for part B again?

Once part 1 (both part A and B) is done, you have 5 years and 4 attempts to clear part 2. So you don't have to give part 1 again till all attempts or 5 years to clear part 2 is over. Are you planning to shift to UK? When did you complete your BDS?
