Very true. This course is not been recognised by the GDC yet. Once registration is approved then it's a better way to gain Registration as a Dentist in the UK. But GDC have not yet acknowledged this course yet. So please do your research before you spent that much of money. That's all.

Yes the course is still subject to approval but the next batch of march 2023 is taking place.That means this course actually mean something otherwise it would have been shut.Hoping for good news and hope this course get verified soon

A minimum of 600 hours within the past 5 years of clinical postgraduate dentistry experience where you have personally treated patients in the dental chair. These are hours spent undertaking appropriate investigations and administrating dental treatment during post-qualification experience. (This experience inclusive your house Job)

Hi, I understand this uclan promotion but there is no way I can afford this or opt this option, my wife is a dependent on me here in uk and a dentist by profession since 2016 in india, recently I came to know there is no registration for hygienist or therapist in uk now and also ore Registration has stopped. Is there any other way for Indian dentist to work in their field here. If possible do guide. Thanks

You should first check. It’s not yet approved and subject to approval. If it’s pilot batch is not approved, it will be difficult for students who pay humongous fees. Please learn about it thoroughly and please attach proof if u are sure it’s approved by gdc as last time I checked GDC hasn’t acknowledged it yet. So kindly reasearch and put up such videos with real facts

yes it is but the if you can afford it then it becomes very easy for you to get into healthcare system and be the part of it and work.once you start earning it's worth that cost .

you are taught the course of 3rd and 4th year of dentistry.it combine both theoretical as well as practical practice.and you will get the degree from this university and after this you can apply for license directly and can get job.

complete your course and go on their website submit the documents.once your documents are verified they'll call you for entrance exam and after clearing that you have to clear the interview once you are past these things you'll get admission

you have a certificate that is just a short term course so it only adds an skill in your portfolio but you have to register as a general dentist only .It does'nt count in masters program

totally depends on which stream you are interested in and from where you want to pursue

It is mentioned on the website that after completing the course, we will be recognised by the GDC only after being subjected to approval. Does that mean the course still needs to be approved by the GDC, or after completing the course, we need to give an exam etc. For GDC approval?

the course is recently started the first batch was this year as per the requirement of gdc if the course get successful this year then you can find a complete info on gdc site also.and the recent batch that has joined will be getting the registration from GDC as per their grades and performance and also performer number.

Requirements is you should hold a primary dentist degree, 600 hours of experience, internship completion certificate dental license.rest you can go on uclan website as i have already provided the link in the description box. If you have completed your schooling and graduation in english med. then u can just get a NARIC certificate from India and if you get that certificate then you don't have to give ILETS. For uclan interview and exam you just ave to brush up your clinical as well as theoretical knowledge and you are set to go. I am from bangladesh..completed BDS in 2015..have two year working experiences(2016,2017) from reknowned hospital in bangladesh..now i am working in private dental chamber as a general dental surgeon for 5 years.. first and foremost requirement is your dental degree and license second is ILETS certificate in which you should atleast have 7 or more bands rest requirements are mentioned on their website please go and check that as i have provided you the link in the description box of the following video.

£68,000 for the whole course!!! My goodness !!! And this MyDentist you are talking about is a corporate dental company and even if they loan this amount, it needs paying back. And you should be signing the contract and abide by it. These corporate companies will use these terms to make candidates to go and work in remote places of the UK where no one would like to.

the course has written its guidelines but this course has started in association with GDC so once you complete the course you will get registered by GDC.This course is announced recently so they have mentioned that if people doesn't approach for this course and if this course isn't successful in that case this course will be cancelled permanently ..so for future admissions or taking up the coUrses do go ad check their website for the recent updates.For now the course is running smoothly.thank you.REGARDS

The course is not recognized completely by the GDC. The cost is extremely high. What about the visa sponsorship from the university. It is really very early to promote these type of videos. First it should be fully recognized by the GDC. That is what I think.

university is completely associated general dental council.IT gives you an assurity of giving you the registration from GDC.But the course is announced recently and its batch have started this year only.its not a scam . 1.600 hours of clinical experience is the internship time that is for 1 year and you must have done after the 4th year. 2. like we have internship after our 4th year in UK they have foundation training which was not available for foreign dentist so after the UCLAN certification my dentist provide you the platform where 1000's of dentist are working in association with so you can get paid mentorship from there. 3.100% surety that you will get the certified license from GDC of UK and you can work under NHS. This is not yet approved. This video could be misleading to many aspirants. The programme is yet to be approved by the GDC. And moreover you'll be again spending quite a good amount of money for the course with no guarantee of registration. There's no such route approved as of now. Yes the council is considering changes in regulations but i wouldn't suggest this course as an option!
