Our bds degree isn't valid so it is the same process for MDS graduates.. Countries like Canada, UAE let's MDS dentists practice directly as specialist. As far I searched it's not possible in Germany.

You can't do pg directly in Germany. You have to go through the process of getting your BDS recognised there first. If you do masters there you have to get it validated in India to be officially called masters in orthodontics. But you can practice a procedure after BDS if you are trained.

In UK you can do MSc directly. But you can not practice there till you clear ore as your bds degree is not valid. In Germany you can do MDS after FSL and Approbation..

Hello there Many thanks for your informative and great videos. I just have a quick question. Basically, does German Dental boards require a specific period of dental practical after graduation as a requirement ? In other words, If I study Dentistry ( let’s assume I meet all the equivalency criteria and pass all of the language exams) can I apply directly to get the *Temp reg* and practice in Germany after graduation? Or I have to have finished at least, like, ONE year in my home country and then apply for Dental Licence. Thanks a lot 😊
