One of the best games to date! Even got some real-life thunder at that crucial turn. Shout out to all the awesome guys who guest star, Ryan is great and Zorp seems well-matched. Badass board, man just so much awesome!

Loved this bat rep Lachie! Watching these latest videos is definitely making me want to push forward with a full on Rohan army

That was a bloody good game! and I enjoyed watching that very much, I like how you explain some rules as you go as its great for a viewer! And two great armies, and opponents! :):)

ELFHELM IS LIFE :D Really digging you and Ryan playing together, makes for nice games. One small thing I noticed: Grimbold only has a two-handed weapon, so always -1 to the Duel roll (didn't really matter in this game though).

Noooo, you have to take courage tests at 50%!!! The army bonus doesn't apply to the LL :( Whole discussion about how you can sacrifice the orcs and it isn't true :(

When the UrukHai force was broken, the Uruk models would still have had to take courage as they do not get their isenguard rule of only taking courage after 66% so they would have still had to take courage tests at 50%

Well this is just awesome! I think you guys are doing a great job with all of your videos. War in Rohan looks amazing and great legendary legions. I hope somewhere in the future GW will add in a Thranduil's Halls LL, fingers crossed. Also Ugluk's scouts look absolutely awesome. The models look great too.

Great stuff and thank you for getting me back into MESBG again and just one thing would love some close ups of the armies before the game. 50k inbound keep up the good work.

Great tables and paint jobs. Wonderful showcase. God, I need a raise this year! Games like this is gonna make me miss rent.

You're thinking of heroic marches mate :) heroic moves are absolutely for setting up charges :) glad you enjoyed it though!

Glad you did this video. Was really struggling to put together a 500pt Ugluk list without 4 heroes. This has a nice balance. Grishnak with shield instead of Shagna though. Few less bows on my list though and a few mordor with spear and shield gives a bit of extra defense for those soft Mordor chaps.

Yeah definitely Grishnahk, Snaga is pretty situational!

Uruk scouts and Rohan, my two favourite factions.

Never thought of taking theodred due to not being able to get his model, have the model now so that will change. I am confused about why isenguard didn't break as that is an army rule and not a LL, have I missed something?

Great video!! Theodreds guard is awesome!! Really liked the similarities with the Battle of fords of Isen. Orc and Uruks sounds like a good combo and movement 8 is quite nice. Shooting into combat and wounding Ugluk sucks 🤣 & poor Snaga who now has a model (being late sucks). Cheers Lachie!!

Loving the videos guys will be following them all! Definitely keen to see how the legion with Eomer and Gandalf performs. Now have legit reasons to own every Rohan hero I think. Probablt would have happened anyway, lots of horses to paint after Christmas! Love how the Ugluk force works definitely tempted to build towards that as a first evil force. And I also feel the loss of +1 S on the charge will hurt but didn’t stop Rohan this game!

Yeah finally Erkenbrand is back!!! Although still no reason to ever use Hama haha but good for scenarios :) The scouts is a great evil force for sure and fun for a first time evil player!

Could be fun in some helms deep scenario or such and as well to pick up anyway ( I have a problem hahaha) . And sure I definitely was waiting for an excuse to get Erkenbrand and paint some redshields!

I love my Rohan infantry. A good general backs up the infantry with cavalry and never let's the cavalry ride without adequate infantry support.

@@Zorpazorp Fielding a swarm of infantry is such a great way of throwing off the opponent. Do they go after the middle units of infantry, or the flanks of cavalry? I like to use them in lines, to move forward then when they hit the blob of enemies (often 4x2 spear or 4x3 pike formations) the infantry can surround the blob peeling off support units and/or attacking the middle ranks; hoping to possibly getting trapped units. At 7 or 9points per model, I can field a few more guys. I'm one of those unorthodox players. Rohan is my favourite army.

@@TheEldarGuy Throwing spears are a must too for the infantry blob! Getting those unexpected kills can totally fracture your opponents formation and setup more of those traps!

How to get does corpses for the ground?

There is a bunch of different models that ocme with corpses, including the casualty pack which was released at one point but it's pretty hard to track down.

I'm pretty sure that in the magazine (the one with 80 issues that came with models, scenarios et cetera) rohan warriors were able to support with their throwing spears, was that rule changed or was the magazine incorrect?

If you feel better I once killed my own Saruman with a crosbow. Funilly enough that won me the game because I denied an heroic combat of Eomer an Theodred that would have catapulted them into my uruk with the relic 🤣. Edit: I also killed like 4 to 5 of my uruks and only like 2 riders of rohan from shooting in combat
