Sam's face pasted over Merry's saying Po-Ta-Toes made me laugh every single time.

Lachlan your dice rolling in the early game PAINED me, I really needed to see Boromir kill more than a single uruk. What an amazing video with the awesome editing, sweeping camera movements, and absolutely fun gameplay. Please keep this content coming! The way you used the movie footage, reversing it or cutting in different scenes, was so so much fun.

I've loved Amon Hen scenarios ever since they made a dual board and played two simultaneous and interconnecting games in White Dwarf back in the day. There's just something about the multiple objectives that makes it not just about killing that makes it a lot of fun. Great scenario, great game, great editing! Merry must have a very sore head after being picked up and thrown around so much.

would love to see an Amon Hen battle set, not that the old metal models are lacking but it'd be nice to get the whole package with a downed Boromir, Uruk carriers and maybe some scenery like the seat of seeing and the elven boats to mark the board edge. Also the two handed cleaver uruks.

Hi Zorpazorp and Lachie :) I gave up on the LOTR strategy battle-game when I was thirteen/ fourteen. I am now 28 (as of two weeks ago) and have rekindled my passion for it over the past month. I have to commend you and your endless enthusiasm. As a kid I never played the game (I was preoccupied with painting). I am now making plans to play games with friends, which wouldn’t have happened if not for your videos. I was able to share them with them and they are now looking forward to it. Ihave bought all rule books this month . I also watched several of your batch painting videos. I had to follow your lead to ensure I got my Moranon orcs up to standard and on the playing field, I am 20 hours into painting them so far (I am competing in my head with the 24 hr challneges you set) , and have learned so much from your videos. I’m sure you deal with messages like this often based on your KZread content. However, I would be remiss if I did not thank you for the inspiration to pursue my hobby with the same gusto that you do.

Damn man. Usually I just watch half of Battle Reports, but this channels bat reps are so damn entertaining. Epic editing, absolutely amazing scenery for your boards and awesome painting on your models. I'm jealous we don't live in the same country to play together!

100% I'm not going to lie editing around the Boromir's death scene was actually hard cause I'd get caught up and just start sobbing uncontrollably.

Great filming and presentation. Loved it. I always prefer when ME SBG is shot so close. It makes the models much more readable.

I have been a lotr fan since i was 4! I have only just found lotr warhammer and your videos have made me purchase my first miniatures. I had a fever and the only cure was more Horn of Gondor, what a flat run from Boromir. My fever spiked when Sam got picked up though, what a call for an edit. Quality stuff as always Lachlan!

I usually don't watch your battle reports as the length puts me off starting. The title of this one tempted me in, and I watched it as bed time material over several nights and really enjoyed it! The time spent editing was definitely worth it, although it sets the bar high for future videos :p. I did notice a couple of minor mistakes in game play. Obviously very hard when thinking about filming and all that. Sometimes didn't back away Aragorn after losing a fight, and also did back some uruks away a full inch when they trapped Frodo, won the fight but didn't wound. Should only be 1mm backed away. I guess didn't matter as with the ring can run through them anyway :). Love the content and will keep my eyes peeled for the next!!

Epic!! Boromir got Bobba Fetted. The editing is Amazing!! Great job there!! It was such an immersive experience that it almost felt like we were there rolling as well!! Good job on both sides of the field. I never expected it to go in favour of the fellowship but in the end it did. Pip got a kill!! Really great game and awesome paint jog on the models!!

One of the best batreps I've seen! Top notch scenery, narration and filming. Love the edits as well, those must've taken some serious time! Hats off! Game was a nailbiter as well! Maybe for a nice balance you could save up and be a bit more selective on adding the film scenes i the future. Gives them more impact and makes for less editing time. Your content keeps on getting better, keep it up! I think you've inspired to me to finally get cracking on building my own amon hen terrain/miniature set, which I've dreamed of since I was a kid.

Amazing production! Loved every single detail in this video, from the edits to the jokes, all around the video’s great, it’s so captivating. I usually have a problem sitting through a video that’s larger than 20 mins in one sitting, not with this one. The cherry on top for me were the edits with “might +1” and the potato Sam joke. Really great job, on top of that the terrain looked amazing! Makes me curious how you keep so many different scenario terrain pieces in your place, you must be blessed with a spacious garage! 😂

Brilliant work. The cinematics work really well for these narrative scenarios. The scenery, the models and commentary are all on point. What a fantastic scenario and bat rep and a close call but the right result in the end. I know the edits take you a long time but my only reservation and complaint was the constant switch to the film clips throughout. I'd say it is fine a couple of times or at really critical points in the storytelling but It takes you out of the action slightly and I found myself rolling my eyes after about the 15th cut away.
