"I am so enchanted by the light you brought to me." Imagine Bono's feeling when he sang this line to Mick.

A great example of making beautiful music together. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better Edges' singing in falsetto voice in the end puts a cherry on top.

Mick is just unstoppable ;)

Bono wrote this about INXS's frontman, Michael Hutchence. You know, he was having problems with Bob Geldoff and Paula Yates. Bono and Hutchence had been friends for years. They had discussed suicide and both agreed it was stupid. They promissed themselves to never give up... The rest, is what people know. It's amazing how music can lift us up. It does work for everybody. I'm happy it did for you.

I love Mick's sloppy performance, struggling with the lyrics, but still giving his own touch to the song, from going to the front of the stage by himself to sing the final chorus, to stepping back during The Edge's final sequence. And the final duet "it's just a moment, this time shall pass" was beautiful. One of the best combinations I've ever seen.

Mick Jagger and his 16 year-old daughter, Elizabeth, came to their Dublin studio and sang backup on this. U2 decided to go another direction with the song and did not use their tracks. The band sent Jagger a copy of his version of this, and thanked him and his daughter in the album's liner notes.
