Every time Haney landed a body shot he was countered. Haney was also dazed, was also hurt during this fight. Haneys shots had more damage, as well as Haney with a way better connecting rate. Please tell me a time stamp where Haney was “dazed”. This is why tank is better than both of them. Tank doesn't leave it up to the judges. He knocks your ass out. Put your opponent to sleep and you don't have worry about being robbed. It appeared to me that it was close enough to be a draw, which means a rematch is needed. Haney landed more bodyshots and may have taken a few of the early rounds, but Lomo landed more headshots and defended against most of Haney's punches. What does compubox show, remember mayweather won a lot of his fights on the strength of compubox stats. In Haneys defence, he is the champ and u can't beat the champ with a close contest it has to be convincing.

@@FightingIsLife you got a point, one thing they should just change is the mindset that you need to beat the champion convincingly. if you beat him even in close fight then u beat him and deserve a win. both high lvl athletes who arent power puncher would always end up in a close fight.

Loma lost too many of the early rounds, a lot of the rounds were close and competitive but ultimately Lona didn’t do enough to take the belts. The dude who says he agrees with compubox, probably doesn’t realise that Haney had landed 11 more punches going into round ten but got outlanded 11-5 in the tenth and a massive 20-2 in the 11th. Which means the majority of rds 1-9 had Haney landing more punches, by the time loma dominated 10 and 11, probably drew the 12th it was too late.

Just watched it back 115 Haney 113 Loma really tough fight to score Haney won 5 of the 1st 7 rounds round 9 and 12 too 🥊

It was clear to me and the people I viewed with that Loma, as the fight grew on took more and more control. It seemed like he dictated the ebb and flow. When he stopped and took a step back it was to let Haney initiate to counter, Then go on the attack. Haney landed more body shots but Loma is the one with the crisper punches and snapped the head of Haney much more. AND Loma did better that Haney with the jab, Haney's supposed fight controlling dominant weapon. I saw many more top fighters and analyses agree with my argument.

Without a knockout it all boils down to a decision and decisions are based on opinions that picks sides. In this case it was the judges’ opinions that counted most. With all the modern technology why not just get rid of judges and go with AI analyzing multi angle slow motion. It might be the most non biased way to decide who really won. It might take a while to come out with an outcome but it would be the correct decision.

Hard to say Lomo won after seeing his face Look battered. Real boxing fans knew Lomo had to knockdown or knockout Haney to take them belts. Lomo waited a lil too late to get it going.

Not to mention the crowd was Pro-Loma and the commentators hyped every damn punch Lomo threw it was insane. Loma is a hall of famer and will be a Legend but he didn’t do enough, but he did expose Haney.

Agree Loma had to a bit more to take the belts. He would have known this b4 going into the fight. You can’t go into an undisputed fighters backyard and expect to shade it. That fight could have been called either way. Loma didn’t do enough in the middle rounds to to make it an obvious victory. And again, Loma showed that Haney isn’t the best boxer in that division. A hype train. Got the belts when they were in the hands of weak opponents. It’s a garentee that Devon ducks Tanks and Shakur now. Those boys will be smelling blood.

​@@ed1x613 devin didn't fight his usual fight though. He fought toe to toe, something he doesn't do. If yall think that performance was the best devin you need to look back at his previous fights. This weight cut clearly affected devin. He needs to move up.

I would have been happy with split decision but not unanimous

If loma would of went all in on 12th round he would of won but he let Haney win that last round that’s where he messed up

I think that's a definite possibility if he put more work into the 12th it would have been his, Loma did state though, along with his corner, that they had enough rounds in the bag to just let the 12th go.

Loma reminds me of Pacman. Shoots fast & quick on his toes. This fight reminded me of Pacman vs Floyd. Shouldve been SD by Haney. Haney played the smart fight & knew the challenger had to do Extra work. They did the same amount of work. So belts stay with Champion

I think loma probably nicked it. He seemed to land the cleaner, more effective shots. And he actually hurt Haney a bit in the 11th. Don't know if loma will get a rematch, cos that was probably Haney's last fight at 135

Haney beat him and outsmarted him rounds 1-6 then loma adapated and won rounds 7-11 then Haney won round 12. to be honest loma really lost round 7 and 9 but we will give them that

People need to stop allowing the emotions to cloud there vision on who won the fight. A boxing fight is won round by round just because you came on strong in the Championship Rounds 10-12 doesn't mean you won the fight. Judges score fights based on: •Punches Landed (head & body) •Effect of Landed Puches •Ring Generalship (who's style of boxing was imposed on the majority of the fight round by round)

So whose style of boxing was imposed? Loma's going forward and hitting you in the face, which is what happened or Haney jabby jabby on the outside which didn't happen? Punches are also not created equal, Loma's headshots are worth more than body shots or jabs from Haney, which weren't even that clean often. When you talk about being objective make you're yourself.

All these folks say it was closer it was a draw, so how could it be a Robbery????

Tysons responce as real as the result. Super close fight, loma had chances to finish and didn't take them and let haney come on strong in the final round.......that tilted it I'm afraid. He had more damage to his face too. I'm a loma fan and wanted him to win so badly and was so disappointed for him and I think haney is a douche but I get the result as hard as it is to take.

Loma outlanded haney every single round except the 12th. Won almost every exchange. The body work of haney was so over exaggerated aside from round 3. It was great that round but aside from that really spotty.

Didn’t Loma out strike Haney 20-2 in round 11? Loma threw over 120 more punches than David and only connected with like 14 more… one round doesn’t win a fight. Devin was more accurate.

The constant false predictions from the commentaries promoting the boxer's next moves that never happened made the perceived outcome look like something that was not. Devin Haney looked like Errol Spence going to Loma's body, at times he hitting him so hard he would move him out of his place. No Tie can render belts from a champion. I gave Haney as much as 7-8 rounds. Loma was good for hanging in there that long with all those hard body shots throughout the fight

It’s a shame Joe and Tyson didn’t watch such an important fight! They know fans and reporters want their take. Some fighters just fight and some compete and follow the sport.

Here Is what is clear from the fight between Loma and Haney. We know that if Tank Davis hits Haney the way Loma hit Haney, it's good night for Haney. We learned a lot from the fight. Tank now has the blueprint and the proof that he can and will KO Haney.

The people who dont say that loma won they hurt boxing you cant call all the close rounds to haney and none to Loma and still would be a draw! But the truth of the matter this is not fair or logical and give the power to the corrupt judges to give the decision where ever they want! The truth is that Loma won almost every round and the match for sure even haney knows that stop this nonsense!

Remember when De La Hoya faded down the stretch and lost the belt?….
