Haney got schooled multiple times against the smaller Shakur stevenson in sparring. Lomachenko is about the same size as Shakur but even more technical so he's gonna win. Still a very close fight tho

Haney looks absolutely massive beside Loma. Add to that the fact that Haney is really coming into his prime, and Loma imo is coming off his, I fear the odds are stacked against Loma here. Shame as he should have been undisputed right now if he'd have taken the Kambosas fight, but of course I respect his decision to fight for his homeland.

Loma is like bro he’s 3x the same of me. How Loma goes up and beats people 2x bigger than him is wildly impressive. This dude tonight was much bigger than him.

People are really getting carried away, Lomachenko has never struggled against fighters like Haney with a jab like style same rhythm throughout the 12 rounds. Loma tends to work out fighters like Haney in a few rounds then starts timing them and closing the gap. Lomas kryptonite just like Usyk is unorthodox fighters who disguise their right hand behind a jab and physically impose themselves. Haney will really struggle against Loma, he’s a safety first fighter who repeats the same sequence of punches over and over again, Loma will read him like a book.

Topped of with the fact he’s been touched up against Linares, Campbell, Pedraza, Teo at 135 who aren’t as awkward as Haney or have half the skill-set, pedigree or reflexes.

Tank V Garcia needs to happen, but it’s so difficult to get it to work. They are both young fighters with undefeated records, I’m not sure they want to take that risk. Furthermore, Oscar De La Hoya and Mayweather working together to make this happen would be another task in itself. If it is going to happen, now would probably be the best time or maybe a couple of more fights each until they get to 30 fights. Cannot be later than that.

Haney is a good fighter don't get me wrong. Does all the basics really well. But you can't compare kambosis to loma. Loma would play with kambosis. Haney is still 1 dimentual good on the backfoot but not great going forward. It won't take long for loma to time everything haney is doing.

Lomachenko is too small for the top lightweights, who are really super lightweight or welterweights in disguise. Like Haney, Teofimo Lopez is a big lightweight. His gameplan against Loma, is the same gameplan I can see Haney using, taking advantage of the reach. Lopez hits harder but doesn't have the skillset or speed of Haney, so getting close to Haney is a big problem for Loma. To make matters worse, he hasn't looked the same since the operation on his shoulder. Loma has modified his game to accommodate it and he isn't at the same level anymore. The fact Loma is 35, means father time is a factor. This is a crossroads bout for Loma. A win elevates his status but a loss will signal the end of Loma ever winning a world title again. Haney wins this by, one-sided points decision or late stoppage.

Even in the Nakatani fight who Loma beat very easily.. he was very sore and bruised after the fight, same with the Pedraza, Campbell, Ortiz and Lopez fights.

Ortiz didn't do much in the last 4 rounds. There is no way he won that fight, but it was very competitive and not the domination Loma would have hoped for.

Loma vs Haney is a mismatch. Haney will be destroyed.

Canelo was a lot bigger than Floyd and the age gap was similar too. Floyd , Pac, Leonard, Roy and many more all time greats challenged themselves against much bigger guys.

Furthermore Haney has all the belts, Tank and Ryan have probably the biggest fanbase and are better known amongst casual fans, Shakur is also looming and all those guys are young and undefeated. Loma actually brings the least to the table and can count himself lucky if he gets the title-shot that he didn’t want to give to Devin when the shoe was on the other foot.

Loma isn't a lightweight. He looked puny against Teo, Ortiz and especially here against Devin Beating loma at this weight isn't really impressive imo
