Well it's obviously different when haney fought kambosos it was in hostile land in front of a crowd only consist of Aussie kambo fans, when loma fight in the us everybody is rooting for him even against haney you know that more will be rooting for loma against the home fighter, plus America for boxing is like the English premier league of the Spanish liga for football it's the center of the sport so its different for American fighters to go abroad since they are where all the action at and mostly its where they started their careers on the other hand fighters from other usually start fighting abroad early and do so for the majority of their career

This was refreshing to see. None of that social media back and forth that a lot of the boxers today engage in.
Loma would definitely admit that wasn't his best performance but Ortiz was brilliant tonight, reminded me of Lopez Vs Loma where Ortiz wasn't always landing but he looked more active and that won him rounds. I had it 7-5 for Loma Devin is very clever to point out that a better version of Loma will come out when they box

I predict this fight is not happening lomo saying he needs to prepare that means another warm up fight. Haney has outgrown that division and will probably vacate them belts and move up ⬆️

@@SwiftSloan excesive holding is a penalty in boxing, You can't throw and then hold everytime to knock off your opponents offense thats why You move You Head and box around the ring, haney should go watch hours of Juan Manuel Márquez, cause he got too comfortable holding.

Haney is a dawg. Also he's the only one doing this for legacy rather than money or fame. He dont need to chase Loma or anybody at this stage. Yet he knows what a win against Lomachenko would do for his legacy. You gotta respect this young king. Now this is a fight I really want to watch. Both men are certified top of the game fighters and that wont change no matter who wins the fight.
That’s why I love Devin Haney he has that UFC style where he wants to fight the top guys, not ducking and dodging asking for more money

Its tough. Haney is a big 135 pounder and Loma is brave to be fighting at 135lbs. His really 126 or 130 max. Now take it account his age, this doesn't look to good for him. Should be a good fight non the less.

Yeah Sadly I think haney is too large for Loma, his style will pose problems for loma too - quick powerful and accurate jabs. May cause Loma on the backfoot too much which is not where he wants to be

I agree. Loma isn't simply a 135 fighter. He's too small. He needs to revise his strategy and come with a great game plan or he's going to lose. I'm a huge loma fan but we have to be objective, he's at a disadvantage against Haney's style. To expose Haneys style you need high work rate and a prime loma. And Loma is definitely past his prime. A great fighter none the less . I just wish he became pro earlier, he wouldn't have to rush everything.

Pacquiao went up 8 weight classes, Floyd went up 5 weight classes. Loma was a big 126 pounder and had a sizeable advantage over guys like Gary Russell & Rigondeaux. Which is the same thing that’s happening here with Haney-Loma. Balance

@@LuluLuna-wr6ut Nah.. Pac could’ve stopped much earlier than that. He’s smaller than the majority of 140 pounders.. he could’ve stopped there if he really wanted to. Floyd used rehydrate 6/7lbs at 135. He could’ve stayed there for much longer to.

Most of Loma's fans are just casual, they dont know boxing lol. what kind of p4p struggle against prospects? He could have easily lost this fight if Ortiz has a bit more experience in championship rounds.

True Floyd's the goat, but let's be honest Loma is to small. He looked tiny in there tn compared to Ortiz. Teo was way bigger then him to, Haney will be huge compared to him.

Most of Loma's fans know boxing. If he had mostly casuals he 'd be healining ppv's doing huge numbers. Foot work, hand speed, combinations, head movement to lateral movement he's one of the best to ever do it. Not mention he rarely has a size advantage if ever.
