I have both designs, old and new. I learned this on my own from trial and error. Wish I had seen this video before. I use a small wood dowel to push down back plate. Like your clear enlarged pictures of what you're explaining in detail. Very good video.

Are the backplates interchangeable? I have an XMacro and I want to change the back plate but nothing says it will work directly with XMacro.
