Just a fyi you can put a ratcheting handle with a socket on the handle of the sight pusher and instead of just spinning the handle you can ratchet it back and forth much easier to do when the sight it gets tight.

You installed wrong. Sig even states to install from left to right when viewed from behind (shooters perspective). The dove tail tightens on the right.

Install Left to Right with backplate facing you. Don't start destroying your sights because of this video, you should be able to feel them wedge in with just finger pressure if you start on the correct side.

Will the p365 supressor height sights fit the the 365 macro slide the same ? Thanks in advance guys awesome video !

Yeah, these should fit the xmacro.

This video is wrong . Do the opposite of what is being shown here. You remove right to left and install left to right

Correct. It's in the Sig Armorer's Manuals. Remove from right to left and install from left to right. Also, red loctite is a BAD idea. First off, if you ever need to move or replace the sights, you'll need lots of heat. I've seen sights installed with red loctite destroy sight pushers. Besides, the reason for the dovetail sight system is that the sights are drift adjustable.

What brand of slide is that? Considering the Zev slide. Thanks. Nice video.

Be sure to get the correct sight pusher. I have a blue VISM similar to this one. Doesnt have the protrusions on the upper part and doesnt fit front part of slides. Im limited to only rear sights. Save yourselves!

In my experience blue loctite holds without having to damage anything if you want to change the sights again. Am I wrong?

Is it a lower 1/3 co-witness? Cause I don’t want the iron sights sitting too high and take up too much real estate in my red dot window

Hey man, I think it’s a little higher than 1/3 but I like it because it easier to use the irons when you need them.

Did you have to make adjustments to your holster or are they still low enough to clear a standard p365x holster?

Hi Abraham, this is a True Precision slide. I bought the slide and swapped almost everything over from the stock slide. In this video I show you how to install the iron sights but I also have a video showing you how to swap everything from your stock slide to this one. Will these sights work on the XL with Romeo red dot???

Hi Xero, yes, these sights fit SIG P320, P365, P226, P229. They should also be tall enough to co-witness with the Romeo red dot. Have a great day.

What sights would i need on my sig p365 slide for a lower 1/3 co wittnes?? Can anyone help me im kinda confused on this matching optic with irons on a pistol.

That’s a very hard question to answer because it would also depend on what optic and slide you’re using. It would also matter if your using an optic mount too. The iron sights I have on this pistol seem to work the way you want with the Holosun EPS carry on this slide. It might be slightly different with a sig slide. I can’t say for sure. I hope that helps.

If you haven’t found out yet, nightfision has a cowitness tool that you input your gun, optic, and desired cowitness then gives you what works.

Why use Red Loctite? Blue one would be removable in the future.

@@freedomspeech9523 Youre welcome. It wouldn’t surprise me to find out that’s what Sig used on their stock sights. It makes sense for Sig to do that because they dont want iron sights to become loose. If sights become loose then that means a repair cost for them.

My gosh, I have been shaving off material and I am no closer to getting the rear sight in. Either the sight maker or the slide maker didn't bother to try and meet the SIG specs, or they just thought we would do it for them. The more aftermarket parts I use the less impressed I am with the industry. I have the same sights and the same slide that you have and I will be here for a while... I'm really starting to question why I spent all that extra money just for looks. :) Thanks for the video, I need to get back to removing material.

Hey Barry, I know what you mean. I had to take a lot of material off my sights too. I didn’t know if it was just my sights but after hearing you say the same thing, I’m guessing they all come like that. The main reason I did it was to be able to add an optic. I hope you really like the sights once you get them on. I’m glad you liked this video too. Thanks again for keeping me posted on your progress.

@@UBRArsenal Finally got enough off using a diamond hone file. It was shiny like a mirror when it finally went on. I like punishment so I bought another set for my P320 - I can't co-witness over my Bushnell RSX250. But I think they will get the job done. I just hope the fit is a little easier. Probably because this guy put them in wrong. As per sig directions that come with their sight tool sights are suppose to be installed from left to right when viewed from the rear (shooters perspective). Not from right to left like shown.

Hi Mack, keep in mind this video is also for beginners that need a video that has a slower pace.

Why does he verbally SAY one direction to remove or install while the graphics instructions say the opposite? Covering all the bases? Not exactly confidence inspiring.

Uhm--your audio and your subtitles are reversed when saying which way to remove/install the sights. So that is where I stopped watching and went to find a video that is accurate.
