Thanks for watching! New to stargazing? Download my FREE Stargazing Starter Guide: www.learnthesky.com/stargazing_starter_guide
Many bizarre galaxies form via collisions Pretty amazing
Ok so I love space and when I said I love space I mean I'm obsessed with it. Theres so many interesting thing about space and some people just don't bother to learn more about it.
I'm hoping my essence goes to an irregular one , it's a dream.
Too cool. I watch your videos. Astronomy Rocks.
I hadn't heard of the ultra diffused galaxies. Good video! Thanks.
Today, I learned the different types of galaxies.
Lenticular Galaxies Classification was Dividing to: SBO: Barred Lenticular SO: Normal Lenticular edit: google keyboard really messed my comment
You make astronomy so "user friendly"! I've been reading about the constellations and snippets from your vids pop intro my mind - like "arc to Arcturus". Many thanks!
perfection. Keep up the great work. Thank u
Awesome video thanks👍
Just so fascinating🌟Many thanks Janine✨
Great video, thank's.I finally got my telescope collimated, and now waiting for the sky to get dark..A lot of light pollution too..

What size is your reflector?
Learn the sky is clearly the best channel to learn n be amazed u guys are so inspired amazing love from Ethiopia
I learn so much from your videos!! Thank you for your time & interest in the sky! I still haven’t seen any galaxies….way too much light pollution. But…..I’m always hopeful.

The Milky Way is the easiest to see since it stretches across the sky. It is brightest in the summertime. It is possible to see in areas free of light pollution. Check out these designated dark sky parks: www.darksky.org/our-work/conservation/idsp/parks/

Great job!
I like the most of your creative coverage always.💐💐🚀🚀🔭🔭📡📡
You're making it so simple to understand, thank you.
I'm so glad I found your video, your channel is amazing!
Great learning experience . Thank you
Very nicely done. Our astronomy group had a presentation on the Arp Atlas of Peculiar Galaxies in the not so distant past. It was as interesting to see as this one.
Great lesson on type of Galaxies.....always new things to learn....... Janine Learn the Sky!!
Thank you for the video it is verry interesting and informative
Just picked up a 8 inch DOB..your videos are helping me out a bunch thanks for the informative videos..keep up the good work.
"Arc to arcturus" "Speed to spica" "Curve to corvus" "And then crash into crater" I added 2 new lines

Thank you!!! The video was very helpful and the characteristics were so useful on my test. Thank you. Keep up the good work!!!
THANKS
Can’t forget about NGC 6050 (a interacting Galaxy that has three galaxies interacting together [space engine for better details])
Thankyou for sharing your wisdom with us mere mortals across the internet. I came across this as I was looking for an answer to why all galaxies are disk shaped/spiral etc. Your beautiful explaintion has just enlightended my brain and sparked so much curiosity to further wonder about the sky.
I am learning thank you
One of my favorite YT sites! I love all you teach us! ⭐️💫✨

Thank you for your feedback. I really do appreciate it.
Great information helped me out a lot with my paper and I learned a lot of interesting facts which I’ve never heard in the past 10/10 astronomy from y’all
Another instructional and enlightening video Janine. I have particularly enjoyed your constellation videos as I have become really lazy by always relying on my go to mount to find my targets.

Thank you so very very much, how did you come up with such idea to show and explain us? Cheers.. im always so excited watching your vids and learning
What is the difference between irregular galaxies and dwarf galaxies? As far as I can tell irregular galaxies are smaller? Is that all?
Messier 51 can also be called the Whirlpool Galaxy
Loving.... From 🇮🇳

Hello. Thanks for watching 🇺🇸
another nice video ma'am!... one doubt i have, does the "active" galaxies, also counted as a type of galaxies along with the ones you shown?.. or the are kind of special exception.. also, the current largest galaxy "alcyoneus", is of which type?.. i couldn;t make it from the images on the internet
Love this video! You should do asmr your voice suits it

I enjoyed your video, too bad a lot of people don’t bother to learn this amazing stuff
can you do one on planet nine?
Thank you Janine for your video. I have a doubt about the Sombrero Galaxy, because I have read that it is a lenticular galaxy and an elliptical galaxy as well.
@learnthesky
2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the Sombrero Galaxy can be a confusing. I should have picked a better example. From what I read, the Sombrero is kind of a hybrid between elliptical and spiral. Thank you for sharing.
Hi mrs Janin! thank you so much for the video, i love galaxies so much, and i love astronomy especially with you!❤ my favourite galaxy types are spiral galaxies like milky way, and i love elliptical galaxies they look like eggs, and i also like lentecular, i love all of them, i love it when i took a look in this video, 13:13 these interacting galaxies are look like number 10 and these galaxies are talking to each other face to face 😂( NGC 4302 and NGC 4298 ) and another galaxies like ( Whirlpool and NGC 5195 ) they are look like number 6, i see whirpool is slaping NGC 5195's face 😂😂 i didn't know whirpool is a interacting galaxy i thought it was a spiral galaxy, thank you so much!💗💖
