It’s hard to put into words the feeling when people enjoy the stuff you make but I assure you it’s a good one. More content is on its its way it’s not going to be out as fast as TMJ but that gives me more time to make better videos. I’ll be honest it’s a miracle type moon June turned out good because I had no plan, just ideas. I look forward to making making more interesting content it’s going to be something definitely, I can confirm that. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I enjoyed TM June quite a bit, glad it's worked out well for you. I look forward to more from you, TM-related or not, I also enjoyed other stuff like your Guilty Gear videos quite a bit. Would be down to see more coverage of maybe less talked about GG titles like X 1.5. Also to address every point in your hot take in the description: Not my opinion but I respect it, Ciel route's high points are honestly pretty high but it's mostly bogged down by so much of it retreading Arc's, based, disagree because I don't feel there is a "canon" story route, my avatar should tell you my stance, as a character in isolation I agree but she has a killer dynamic with Shirou to me, hard hard disagree, Koha is my favorite Tsukihime character so my bias compels me to disagree, I love Hisui but agree, hard hard agree.

Im glad you enjoyed it, the hard work payed off. I’d like to do more classic guilty gear because I’m sure as (heaven or) hell not going to talk about strive outside of big announcements. Also, I feel like not enough people talk about classic guilty gear, but that probably has more to do with guilty gear the series not getting popular but guilty gear strive the game getting popular if that makes sense. I agree the reuse of elements from Arc’s route is a detriment but the unique moments still hit the same highs as Arc’s route. I didn’t really like Rin’s dynamic in her route but I liked her more in other routes (maybe it’s a anime thing I haven’t watched any of the besides the Tsukihime one). On my kohaku take I feel like people are more into the persona of Kohaku that she projects 99% than the actual character that has deep deep mental issues. Idk what you like about Akiha or her route but I always felt like it was heavy overshadowed by Hisui’s route. I just don’t get the appeal of Akiha compared to literally everyone else (feel free to elaborate if you want genuinely curious). Thanks for reading the hot take section I figured no one would read it but you and one other person proved me wrong.

@@Drzuul Honestly more coverage of the history of GG as a franchise would be super interesting to me. X 1.5 was something that basically was not remotely documented at all until recently and is just kind of a bizarre product in general. And some games in the series were basically barely played competitively so as such documentation and information on them is sparse, such as XX Slash. I guess it's not dissimilar to SF3 Second Impact in that sense just because people only played Slash for like a year before AC, and many people who played XX/Reload actively disliked Slash. An oldhead from my locals described it as "the most boring GG of all time", but at the same time another guy I talked to who actively plays and labs the game feels there was more to the game than people initially thought. I dunno, it's probably a niche topic that interests few people besides weirdos like me but I think about stuff like that on occasion. That's a fair point regarding Kohaku, yeah, but at the same time I don't feel like every aspect of her persona was a complete lie if that makes sense. At least that's the impression I got from both her route and certain scenes in other routes. Plus just given she endured everything in the first place for Hisui and even after the fact never really came to resent Hisui for having a better life and actively thought about her happiness sort of shows me that at her core she really was a good person, but the way she was forced to live ultimately broke her. As for what I liked about Akiha, I like the fact that despite her tsundere-ish aspects she feels mostly fair. Maybe she is a little harsh sometimes but honestly Shiki does and says so much wild shit that her bitchiness is kind of justified sometimes. And even despite that she does give Shiki a certain level of fair treatment, like not prying further into his business even when Shiki is blatantly hiding things. And plus similarly to Kohaku, I sort of feel for her sort of self sacrificial actions and they give me a lot of respect for her. But honestly I somewhat get what you say about Hisui route overshadowing, her route is honestly peak Tsukihime for me.

@@saishuumusou I'd love to cover stuff like X 1.5 but finding info on them can be hard. They're criminally under documented so that gives me more than enough reason to look into it and I'm interested in it so that's all that matters when it comes to making videos (But I gotta finish my Xrd project first). You raise a good point about Kohaku. Despite everything she still cared for Hisui and never resented her even when Shiki falls for her in his route. That takes some real strength for someone who's had almost everything taken away from them. I can't wait to see what they do with her in the remake especially her route which I hope gets the Ciel remake treatment. In retrospect Shiki does do a lot of wild shit and I can't fault her for freaking out. In the Arc route alone he disappears for days without explanation and sneaks out every night, any reasonable family member would be worried. Add onto the fact that she is single handedly carrying the family on her back and holds the sins of their father too Akiha has a lot on her plate before she brings Shiki back. Like how she feels with Koahku she probably feels the same with her brother, extremely guilty. She repents by letting both of them do what they want even if that means the death of her. I think the reason why I've disliked her is because of melty where everyone is dialed up to 11 (outside of the original melty story mode which is mostly faithful, the canon route at least). I've been far too exposed to "Nii-san >:(" every match and I haven't really thought about her actual characterization much. In fact I think peak Akiha is her side story in Kagetsu Tohya. It really sold me on the idea that she could be the protagonist of her own VN like Aoko got with her's.

Late but okay regarding your hot takes: I'm more of a Ciel guy myself but Arcueid would be the best girl in literally anything else for me. I like the Akiha route, mainly because SHIKI really gets to shine here and his fight is really good, he jobs pretty badly in the other far-side routes although I will say Akiha's more interesting in the Kohaku route than she is in her own route. As for the others, the other guy covered them better than I could.

I wouldn’t say he jobs in the other routes it’s just he’s not the true villain in hisui and Kohaku’s routes so he doesn’t have as much agency. They handle Roa the same way, main villain for Arc route but gets side lined in the Ciel route to keep the reader on their toes. It’s something that Tsukihime does really well. in each route. You get to see different sides of certain characters like how you mentioned akiha in Kohaku’s for example. Thanks for reading the hot take’s always love discussing these things. @@Drzuul Ah, tbf I think the way he's used in Kohaku's route is really good as it both subverts expectations and foreshadows the last act but I do think he could've been more of a threat to Shiki in Hisui's route, especially after what happens in the normal ending, it feels a bit anti-climactic.

I always figured that was the point it’s supposed to make you think he’s going to be the villain for her route, but then it pulls that twist out at the end and the whole entire story is flipped on its head. It really does make that reveal at the end way more impactful.
