great to see these videos I was born in 1960 and brought up in tynemouth in the 70s and 80's lived on the broadway ...so sad when the plaza was destroyed by fire

Aaahhh ! The Plaza ! The chippy and the Ghost Train ! Brilliant stuff. We have fantastic beaches in North Tyneside but absolutely nothing to do , shame on the Council. South Tyneside Council know how to run a seaside resort.
