Two John Deere Tractors - Drilling Peas
Ойын-сауық
Every year we grow over 1,000 acres of vining peas for Birds Eye. These peas get harvested and transported to the factory where they are washed and flash frozen within in less than two and a half hours.
This video shows two John Deere 6210R tractors and two Herriau pea drills. Together they are sowing the pea seed which will be harvested later this year.
Warter Priory is a world class farming operation set in the heart of East Yorkshire amidst 12,000 acres. At Warter, we pride ourselves on our reputation for quality and efficient farming. The main crops we focus on growing are wheat, barley and oilseed rape. We also grow peas in partnership with Birds Eye and some of our land is used for growing potatoes.
The music featured in this video is In Dreams by Dan Phillipson.

I love how u actually reply to comments😀 Keep up the good work
The music and filming are brilliant and the subject is always interesting. The only fault is they never last long enough. May your crops grow into a bumper harvest.

WOW
Great video, just curious to know, what do you think farm machinery will be like in 50 years? I know it's Abit random.
Great vid, why do you use the guide arm for the next pass when you have GPS on the tractors?

Because some ppl don't always want to rely on GPS I like to operate my machinery like my job describes.
What kind of peas is this that requires a special drill?
can i ask why you cant just drill peas with one of your vaderstadts why does it need to be a special pea drill
What do you think of masseys?
First of all, great videos! I do have one question though. What is the purpose of that single arm on the side of the drill that seems to be dragging? Thanks in advance.
