TWO GREAT DAYS OF LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY - Working the scene at the Skútafoss waterfall

#landscapephotography #wildlifephotography
We spent two days photographing the Skútafoss waterfall in East Iceland. We had a great time working the scene around the waterfall. Finding new compositions can be tricky, but we had a great time.

Another beautiful video from a great team! We were there only by chance a few months ago in summer 2022, and had a great experience there too as we had clear weather😮. In 2018 we drove strait past this area and didn’t even know it was there as the cloud and fog was thick right up to the road. It’s a fantastic spot. Thanks for another enjoyable film. 🙏🏻 Love from Australia.

Hello, I throughly enjoy watching you both capture such beautiful images from an object and/or a scenery that one would just walk by and ignore. Because of your inspiration, I have found myself wanting to visit this interesting and breath taking island, called Iceland! I’m considering a trip this coming November. Any pointers you can offer? Sincerely, Kathy from Rhode Island

Glad you enjoyed it. November can offer winter-conditions. Keep that in mind. If you are planning a long trip our eBook - or the printed version of "Photographing Iceland - A Photo Guide to 100 Locations" might be a good start to make plans.

@@GudmannAndGyda thank you for your quick response . That’s good to know. we are considering the month of November for the possibility of a better chance of seeing the Northern lights. Would you agree? I am aware there is no guarantee the lights would appear on any giving day. We are looking into a 7-10 day photography workshop, very excited! October is another month we are considering . Since the workshops are new to me, I am carefully choosing location. I have recently purchased your “Photographing Iceland” book and very much anxiously await for its arrival. Thank You and have a peaceful day! 💕📸 Kathy

Excellent video! Quick question, where did you get the black wraps for the upper legs of your tripod? I could use some to keep my RRS tripod.

Black wraps...? There is only a foam on top of the tripod legs. Original foam - this is Sirui SR-3204.
