A "Lurcher" = a "BREED". you SURE? "Lurcher British dog crossbreed A lurcher is a crossbred dog resulting from mating a greyhound or other sighthound with a dog of another type such as a herding dog or a terrier."
So... this lady and her husband have separated and "neither are able to look after the cats"... but they have two dogs that they didn't abandon, apparently. And what landlord says "yes" to dogs but "no" to cats? Whole story sounds like B.S. to me. Glad the two nice kitties found better owners.
