I grew up with these little guys. My mom had them all my childhood. I would sit for a long time interacting with them and whistling with them. It was very calming for my ADHD and was one of the only times I was actually centered. Adorable. 🥰

​@@nickotasla3091 nah. gender is only relevant with budgies if you want them to breed them, or if you have an skewed gender ratio (because they will fight if you do). budgies of the same gender can be great companions; same goes for humans too btw. it's not like everyone and everything wants or needs to be in a traditional marriage.

I love the look on the little blue ones face, like he’s really giving deep thought to what the other ones saying. They are just so sweet.

I like how at the end they were looking at the camera like they were done now.

They're adorable.

Every Budgie has it's unique song and sound pattern, God is amazing ....

Their little feets scurrying over the top of the cage is my favorite sound

It’s incredible how they are actually talking to each other in their own intellectual language (I mean the way they were actually communicating, not the words they said here and there). It’s cool that they mimic human voice but I think it’s even cooler that they are clearly have an extensive conversation with each other in bird language.

I LOVE budgies with all my heart ❤️ those little feet,little eyes,they’re adorable tweeting sounds.Budgies are so cute when they bop bop bop their little heads.How they play with each other with their toys.Feeding them every day.I enjoyed giving them a spray with a little bottle.Oh gosh they were such fun to have throughout my life,the hard part is when they died,all my feathery friends,least their in birds heaven flying around with high in the clouds.

Parakeets are such darling little birds.

The little noise that they make on the cage is SO cute

One night my buddy budgie sat on my ex's shoulder and entertained my visiting family with.mummy loves you.come in m room.etc bit embarrassing but hilarious.very entertaining.one night turned off tv and listened to him talk for ages.like his mum🌹

Some birds not just species but some birds are more gifted than others and those birds I believe understand to an extent. They process information faster than us humans but yes I believe some birds do have an understanding of human language just not as deep as us but I believe over time they will evolve and display even more intelligence.

Wonderful Birds! My 2 boys freeze if they see a camera, so I have to sneak up to film through a window on my bedroom door. I managed to film my baby Bird sleeping next to the picture of the Bird on his seed bag- he must think it's Mommy. Always a joy to watch such sweet creatures. Thank you!

In 1970 we had our first budgie and we taught him to talk and we had him out of the cage everyday and played with him he was so friendly and he lived for 8 years and when he died all our family were heartbroken

Kiwi is so cute around 2:45 when he asks "Are you a baby bird?...".

I also had two budgies with exactly the same colors as these two, makes me really nostaligc (named Amadeus and Lucy). But because we bought a little swimming pool you had to hang into the opening of the cage and there was still a little gap under it that my mum decided to seal with just some strings, one summer night the female green-yellow one managed to bite it open, escape into the room and then out of the open window. Although we put the cage on the balcony and hang food everywhere around it on the following day to lure it back, the female never returned. The male one immediately became depressed by being alone and just sit apathic in a corner not doing much every day. We eventually bought a new young female one, but I don't know if it was because of the age gap or because the male one still hoped his old patner would return, but they just kept fighting over everything like food or who gets to swim first in the freshly cleaned pool, they also pecked each other and just stayed in different corners of the cage most of the time. In the end we were sad that the budgies were doing so poorly and we couldn't figure out how to improve the situation, so we gave them away for free to a breeder with lots of other budgies in hopes they would have a better life there and find new friends/partners.

@@midashq They can't live in the wilderness there's probably a bigger risk of them being eaten by a bigger bird, than the cold, budgies are pretty tough little ones 😊Many people keep them in an aviary (build up against the house) so they are safe from storm, rain and snow, and insulate it, so it's warm in the winter. I live in Denmark and I grew up with budgies and parakits outside, and many people have them outside, even in the winter. If it gets really cold, you can use a heating bulb, I don't recall my dad using it - it doesn't gets as cold here as in some parts of the US..

@@funinthekitchen844 u can hold them outside bc they get acclimatised in the aviary,, that is usually not done in mid winter either,, acclimatisation is done way earlier bc otherwise they'd def die from the cold shock

@@midashq Yeah, I thought that was implemented in my comment, it's pretty obvious that exotic animals are acclimatised to our climate when we buy them, or when they have their babies/offsprings in the spring .. 😊

Birds are such high-energy creatures. Sometimes they move so fast it looks like teleportation.

I played this for my parakeets and they started making cute noises that sounded like your parakeets. They enjoyed this thank you. I think they where weirded out by some of the odd noises too! XD
