I grew up listening to my mother play like this as i fell asleep in the evenings. Then my precious older brother followed up as he became a pro. So precious are the memories as i just turned 70.

We moved to Australia & found ourselves living in the bush being WILDLIFE ANIMAL CARE GIVERS we rescue raise & release little abdonned & or orphaned Kangaroo, Wallaroo, Wallaby Joeys, 'one day old' little goaties. As each & every spring we find them or rather HEAR them (loiud little devils) as the lesser twin is often rejected by its mum & herd & if nurtured& fed they can grow up to be healthy adults. The first one I found when I was looking at the land we ultimately bought had a tiny white female kid umbilical chord still on alone crying out cold & hungry. She had been rejected & the herd a couple hundred metres away stone walled her & paid her no heed. Jody is still alive 9 years later, an old lady now who has had 18 babies ie 9 sets of twins & raised them all & is the grandmother of God only knows. Our neighbours kindly took her in as we were still living in town fulltime at that point. Since then her 18 have had their twins. lol. The gift that keeps on giving. You know the 'cat lady' well I now find myself the Joey Lady. Fun thing is that they sleep on the King with the cats going from 150 gms at their time of arrival sometimes the size of a small Yam / Sweet potato & leave a full grown Eastern Grey Kangaroo 4 to 5 feet tall. I think there is nothing better than waking up with a kangaroo on your bed.lol they are the most beautiul creatures, well the girls are the boys are real jerks, pushy, demanding, practicing their chops on you. The girls are massively interactie, thoughtul, patient, kind, loving, funny, playful, toilet trained....Just love the experience. Then they grow up & hop the fence to freedom once their hormones start to call. Our huge orange Norwegian Forest Cat we rescued as a tiny kitten who grew up with Rick Rick (the one that was the size of a yam) but is now at least 50 kilo or more at just coming on 2 years old now. When we take the dogs on a morning walk we often see Hamish the Norwegian Forest Cat a good distance outside the safety of the fenced in compound up in the paddock with his old friends Rick Rick & Rita (another Joey who was raised at the same time as Rick) There they are sitting all 3 of them together just quietly hanging out. Its really a special sight to see. Hope I didn't bore you.

Tico is fantastic and Mr. Frank Sr. its quite the piano master. Tico brings back so many, many sweet childhood memories because I had one just like him and it made my early years very fun and entertaining, never a dull moment with a parrot around the house. I'm new to the channel but I've been like that famous song Reminiscing about when I was a kid and how great and simple life really was... Man I miss those golden years of childhood friendships and just enjoying life's simpleness and no clutter, how glorious it really was. Love Tico and thanks Frank for sharing this amazing creature with all of us. Tico is very special and sweet. 🦜🥰❤️

Grandpa is a badass on the piano.

I love how Tico switched to softer whistles with the piano, instead of his usual throaty belting lol. It's like he sensed the piano time was a bit more 'classy'. So adorable!

Wow Grandpa is amazing and so is Tico. I could listen to Grandpa play the piano all day.

I used to love Mr Maglio playing so beautifully. The songs brought back memories of my Mom humming the songs years ago. Such a great generation they were. Bless them❤

My Dad lives in The Villages too. Of all the gin joints in all the world, Tico had to walk into mine. My crazy minds eye can see Tico on the piano in Casablanca with Bogey and Sam. He would fit right in.

When my parents were about to go to a place where our parrot could go with them, he used to get very anxious, he was very smart and always knew the difference when my parents were going to work (where he couldn't go with them) and when they were going to my grandma's, for exemple (where he could go too). I bet that so does Tico understand that difference when Frank and Gina are about to leave.
