Remember life in nature is harsh and short. "Flying free" is a human projection upon the life of birds. Tico is happy, healthy, well-fed and a joy to us all . He has no way of "yearning" for a life struggling with a mate to raise chicks. He's diggin it.@@dogg440

And that's why Tico is so amazing and such a joy to watch and listen to. He's not forced, trapped or coerced in any way. He sings and entertains for the joy of it when he wants to because he wants to and on his terms. It would be sad if one day Tico decided he's over it, but if that ever happened there's no doubt mum and dad would be ok with that too because they love him and want him to be happy and that's why I enjoy watching and listening. I know Tico's happy. I ❤️ TICO 🦜

Tico: I am the vocalist, and you, Frank Frank Frank, are just the guitar man! But he has a right, because he’s preternaturally talented (and seems to know it). It’s very interesting to see how he greets you when you come home, is eager to leave the cage on Gina’s hand, and is ready to sing immediately without doing any scales or warm-up exercises! Music is his life, just as it was for Bach and Mozart!

Tico is a celebrity AROUND THE WORLD.

I love the little "BAYYYY-BAAAY!" trill he does at the end of a line - The vibrato in that 'Baby!" is just like a karaoke singer! Tico's bond with his human parents is a privilege to see. He is wonderful, a little star who has put smiles on countless faces around the world via KZread. Thank you for sharing your ray of sunshine with us. By the way Gina - great work getting that pen off the table and out of Tico's beak - and just after Frank said you keep the surfaces clear too, lol!

He loves to sing and tought himself, but he must have got the singing style from somewhere, particularly when he sings Soul. Man, I used to have an Amazon parrot like 20 years ago. He didn't talk much but imitated cats, dogs, creaking doors, my mom's laugh, and the vacuum cleaner (!). I always remember him because he loved to rest his forehead against my cheek. His breath always smelled like honey for some reason. Miss him very much.

He needs to be in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame!

I love parrots. I had a roommate who had a rescue Macaw that was a delight and utterly crazy, in equal measures. We have cats now, so no more birds, but I miss them, so watching you and Tico is great!

I think Tico & Einstein the grey in dallas Tx are the most loved patriots in the states now. the greys are the best talkers but they can’t sing like Tico 😂❤

He is such an amazing bird. I have never heard a bird try to sing like a human. You have really nurtured his love of music which is wonderful. It’s nice he can hang out with you every day and just enjoy music together. ❤💕
