Omg let me just say THAAAAAAANNNNKKKK YOOOOUUUUUUU ❤️ you just helped me so much it was from 3:05 to 3:35 that was the key info I needed as to why the twist kept unraveling and how to fix them cause mines definitely looked like that picture of your 1st trial run lol. I would charge depending on how much time it would take me to complete the style. Maybe setting an hourly rate for yourself would help with pricing. That’s my opinion though! ❤️

I'm white and I remember doing the same thing but with far bigger sections (often times the entire ponytail, but sometimes smaller ones in the front pinned to the back of the head or used as an element in an updo). We called them rope braids. It is interesting that this is essentially the same base, but smaller and on a different hair type.

Are you sleeping with anything on your hair to protect it? Also do you sweat in your sleep? Those could be reasons as to why it’s getting messed up
