Hello this video is very helpful. I am a father of twin teen boys that have been growing their hair out for about a year now...I have no idea on how to braid or twist hair.but I am attemping. They are wanting this type of style. So thank you.🤙🏾 say a prayer for me as well😅

It will definitely get there. Have you tried the black Jamaican castor oil? It grows the hair pretty fast☺️

Thank you so much. I maintained this style by having him wear a durag to sleep and this style usually last about 3 weeks before having to redo it due to frizziness.

Does the hair puff up after a few weeks? By that I mean shrink and get bigger

It’s does some, but to reduce that from happening so bad, I make him sleep with a durag and when doesn’t sleep with one I can tell a tremendous difference

What do you use to keep them from shrinking after they have been done for a few days from sweating?

They will usually shrink some. The only thing he did was sleep with a durag and put one on when he played football

Can you tell me the purpose of the hair clips at the end. I want to try this style in my sons hair

The only reason I sometimes place clips at the ends of the twists, is because it helps with the stretching to give him a little more length, basically to reduce shrinkage.
