Update: I started my dreads when my hair was decently long (eyebrow level). It’s coming up on my first retwist (April 6th). The lady says by the 3rd retwist my hair should begin budding so I’m just trusting the process

Go with a taper bro. If you don’t like it after a while then you can cut the sides to make it a high top or drop fade

You should put oil in your have 2 or 3 times a week and if you have rose water put that in everyday

Tea tree oil is good for any itching you might have.. sometimes I put some in a spray bottle with water and that helps with hair growth as well

Cut it and get it tapered, that’s what I did. Had a box for about 2 years then cut it off (wave length) experimented with waves while my hair was short, now I’m 6 months in wit a full head. Best decision I ever made 🤟🏾
