Others have answered but just to give you a clear and concise answer- the extra band members were for the livestream concert that they performed on May 21st. This performance was taken directly from that concert. They wanted to give work to musicians AND make the concert as "live" as possible, so they brought on the extra people. Cool reaction, definitely check out "the outside" from this new album when you get a chance!

The song is for his brother. He was showing him how to make a song from beginning to end. Maybe you need to check out Tyler’s brother….Jay Joseph.✌️🤓

Think the guys giving people work, right now people (musicians) not working a lot. The guys aware how hard it is, they have gone hard times too!

The song is basically a motivational song for his brother Jay who wants to get into the music industry- basically telling him to go out and pursue his dream The other members were only there for the live performance as Tyler is the one doing all their parts on the recorded version If you're going to do the whole album I'd recommend going in track order of the songs rather than skipping around

This "new band members" are assumed to be temporary since the current album's narrative is that Tyler and Josh are being forced to do things(musically) in the band that they don't usually do. Since both said that they love performing with only 2 of them, Adding these new people adds to that story

Nice reaction. Tyler's last two albums - as well as this song - sound a little vanilla to me, a slight step down the interesting-meter compared to the mind-blowing earlier stuff (imo). I'm always interested to see where Tyler is going next; he's a generational songwriter, an incredibly creative musical mind. He and Kanami Tono of Band-Maid are imo two of the most talented songwriters making music today (he more pop, she more rock - but genre feels a bit meaningless for these two, as they could probably pretty much write any genre if so inclined).

No expand band. Personally i don't like it. Also on fallon show and billboard show they performed this with them. Personally i really don't like it. I like to see just him and josh. Poor josh became invisible by all those extras overwhelming the stage.

@@0u7break13 lmao they can literally use backing tracks which would sound better (since it can't do mistakes).. but this band thing is only for Scaled and Icy album cycle anyway
