The original version of this song was released in 2018 on their last album Trench. Tyler did a 'storyteller performance' for radio.com in 2019 as part of the band’s Location Sessions series where he reimagined 5 of their songs (“Ride,” “Smithereens,” “Chlorine,” “My Blood” and “Cut My Lip.”), this video is the last song he did. There was just a small audience I think, which you can't see but he talks to them in between songs on the full video (kzread.info/dash/bejne/npWAzLWpY7upZ6Q.html).

I HIGHLY recommend this entire session! It is fairly newer (within the last 2 years) and filmed in front of a very intimate audience. This guy is a musical genius!

This was fairly recent (2019 I think?) but it was an exclusive performance. You had to win tickets or know the right people to get in. The entire set is super cool to watch, I'd encourage you to check out the other 4 from this session, especially Ride and Chlorine, which are live remixes like this one (My Blood and Smithereens are just Tyler's vocals and the piano).

the song was off trench, he remade a few of them in front of this live audience - i also can't remember if you've done The Hype (Berlin Session) but that's an amazing video as well - i'd recommend listening to the original version first
