The more time Justin spent actively trying to get away from Fungalore and find something better, all without ever being able to actually just forget about him, the further he was cemented into their minds. Once they had devoted more than two minutes purely to talking about Fungalore there was no more getting away from him while still remembering he existed, everything past that point was just an effort in futility.

Fungalore arrived as a fully realized being in my head the instant the pronunciation changed to something that sounded like a name. My literal thought was, "Well, whether they choose it or not, this guy *exists* now. They can't unring this bell." I'm so happy.

Condensing this to six minutes doesn’t quite convey the impact that Fungalore had on all of them and us as listeners. It was such a brain worm

i love fungalore SO MUCH. this alone has made me so pumped for this year.

I am so so excited for everything that will come from this, even if it's minimal. OH GOD I CAN"T WAIT FOR THE ANIMATIC OF THIS! ...heard chef.

I have listened to every singe episode at least once, and never been so fucking pleased about a year theme. I am actually kinda worried about HOW pleased I am with Fungalore. But that too pleases me. Facebook had already decided that I needed to see like three different groups about "hey lookit this cool fungus!" and I had already *heartily agreed*. I was already on board with Fungalore, they just gave him a name. People certainly are embracing the EFFFFFF outta Fungalore tho!
