It’s so sad because the doctor really did love Clara to the point where he almost killed some one/himself/her(when she thought she died)and protected her with whatever he could.

True Love includes not just being willing to die for someone but risking freedom and even killing for them. It is a Love that doesn't just revolve around good and happy times but it survives fear, anger, and even betrayal. They were willing to say when they weren't alright to each other. That was the difference between Clara and all the other companions. The rest may have had love but it was childish love/infatuation in comparison. The Companions were always obedient/compliant in comparison and, though the Doctor listened, he rarely obeyed. Most early Companions would walk away to find their own lives, or he left them and didn't go back. In the New Era, there were tons of kisses but NONE initiated by the Doctor out of love except when he kissed Clara's hand. That kiss on her hand held more love than any smooch on the lips There were also some handholds with Clara that meant more than kisses ever could. It reminds me of Jack Bauer and Chloe O'Brian.

I think the way Capaldi portrays the Doctor's pain with his low Scottish voice is so special

Thank you for keeping 12 and Clara 'alive' after five years. They were the epitome of Doctor and companion and should be remembered like this. It's a great video.

this deserves an award! so poetic and beautiful. It had me tearing up. It’s been awhile since I’ve watched their videos and once I do, I’m reminded why I loved this duo. They would have done anything for one another. To this day, they are still one of my favorite ships.

This video broke me. These two are the end of me. So damn beautiful and emotional. I try to keep my eyes dry, but it’s impossible watching this masterpiece.

He was absolutely the best . He and Clara together were the stuff dreams are made of. Miss them still.

Ohh the first minute or so, with the wholesome moments, and then about 20 seconds later hitting us with the more sad/serious moments.. this is beautifully edited 🐦

okay...this last week i watched a lot of vids i have saved over the past years, trying to remember some favourites, which include some of twelve/clara ones, and seeing this now...it's like a signal, the nostalgia is real. the way you edited it makes me emotional in some way, makes me feel like it was just yesterday when they travelled together and i really love every second of it, so thank you for this beautiful video 🤍

That was beautiful. I have stopped watching Doctor Who since Chris Chipnoel took over as the show runner because now there's no love, no hugging, no caring, no strong sci fi stories, no science and no handsome man as the doctor like David Tennant, Christopher E, and Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi. Even he was old, he was still a good and strong actor. Love it when he punished himself in Hell Bent just because he didn't save Clara Oswald in Raven. True, he could have saved her before it happens. Christopher E., did once try to. He help Rose Tyler see her father live, there was a change in the time steam just to save Rose Tyler's father. Still, I missed it when the doctor saves the companions.

He wanted to save her. And Clara couldn’t bare the thought of him suffering so much. He really tried which made their relationship so special. And the Christmas gift from Bill for him was so beautiful. The 12th and Clara had the most beautiful relationship. And he suffered so much; losing her.

wow the whole thing is good but the last minute and a bit when the music kicked up the editing was absolutely outstanding the best i have seen on one of these on youtube

This video is better than the crappy 11 and 12 series writing. I miss this Doctor Who. I miss Peter Capaldi. I miss The Doctor and Clara together. I wish they would’ve done something similar like they did with Rose and the meta crisis Doctor. They deserved a more of a happy ending than this.

i watched a ton of your vids back before you went on hiatus and your twelveclara videos always managed to wreck me so it extremely rules you were able to get back to vidding and make this! hopefully we get to see more of your stuff, i missed it!

9 was fresh from from the time war , struggling to remember who he was before the war - 10 was still so haunted by his actions ending the war by destroying his world and his people to save the universe - 11 was trying to forget the war and have some fun - 12 knows that he will never be who he was before the war and , in essence , he was already dead , and so his only driving purpose was to to protect the universe and especially the human race - most importantly , Clara - and whatever that meant he had to endure in the process - blindness , horror , dying over and over and over again - was fine with him - he was Never Cowardly , he was Never Cruel - he ran fast and loved hard , that clever boy , and he was a Doctor - THE Doctor ; the original Doctor ❤

Imagine you didn't only follow these two during a BBC series but you would have experienced exactly their story for a little more than twelve years whilest under the protection of this kind of Shephards Boy who didn't allow himself to break his wall of rules and principles for "more than 2000 years" you've become a medical doctor yourself... if you experienced exactly this impact of duty of care by someone full of liveliness, vitality, cleverness and trustworthiness as well as full of fear of himself (i.e. his feelings) for the sacrifice of time and also for missed chances with whom you therefore share very unforgotten experiences, moments and dreams surrounded, fullfilled and carried by this very special kind of love which during this time never was mentioned by this word but by glances and gestures as well as thoughts and addictable imaginations, then for sure you will know what it means to become more than fully alive and also what it means to suffer death... can you imagine how incredibly much it hurts watching those both as if you look into a mirror of your own lifetime spent with your Doctor, Who now has left like gone with the wind?
