This is still the best pairing in the show's history. Jenna was great with Matt Smith, but excellent with Peter Capaldi. Elisabeth Sladen and Tom Baker are right behind.

Clara is tiny and loud and I love her soooo much!

i didn't like clara with smith so much, though i felt they were cute with the connection they had... her dynamic with 12 was brilliant though, and tragic as well - he was old now, and she didn't love him like she once did, or at least she forgot it, but once danny died, clara and the doctor were inseparable... which is why inevitably, she died idk it was a great story for sure

Some of my friends from high school back in the day also didn’t like Clara with 11 because they thought her only contribution to the show was showing up and saving him at a bunch of points in his life by jumping in the time stream. I guess they had a point as a lot built up to that but she was brilliant after, especially with 12

I think you lost the part when she never stopped loving him when he became 12 and she never forgot it, she just understood that even if she loved him she had to try to move on which is something she never managed to do if not only as a facade. Their mutual neverending love is what led them to the events of Hell Bent.

Those are my two fav parings as well! The Donna Doctor and the Dr/Clara Hybrid lol. Clara and Donna are the two who are the most sassy with the Dr. They're not afraid to give him attitude and tease him like bffs should!

The thing about her pointing at him and then her eyes to say she'll be watching him? She does it backwards. She's supposed to use one finger to point at him and two at her eyes. But, being Clara, she still makes it work.
