Tutorial & Solo Playthrough of After the Virus - The Long Cold - Solo Board Game

In this video, I teach and play through two missions in After the Virus: The Long Cold by Jacob Fryxelius and FryxGames. After the Virus is a deckbuilding game of post-apocalyptic survival, where you try to scrounge supplies and fight the oncoming zombie hoard. In The Long Cold, you are able to play a campaign which includes gaining upgrades and changing the decks between each play.

This expansion is so much fun and so well incorporated to the base game. There is so much content that you will probably not have seen all the cards after 5 complete campaigns!!! Love it. Great video Daniel!

thanks alot for this great video, it is really helpful. just wanna tell you that i think you have done a little mistake when retrieving a card from the 4 TLC deck cards you should trash another scouted card from the normal area deck.

I think the base game is next to be bought. This expansion looks like it adds a lot of new cards/variety.
Yesss, I've been looking forward to this playthrough and it did not disappoint, as always! Great video and great explanation! Now I can finally open the expansion box :D It looks really fun, the second mission is really tough tho! But nice win on the first mission! Will you make a separate video for the review?

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the playthrough and found it helpful. I don't know if/when I'll review the game. My impressions are that it is a good, interesting deckbuilder marred by its art direction. It provides the right amount of deckbuilding and tension. I'd probably rate it a 7.5/10.
