You can do the same on standart attrib noise node. Just change Attribute name from vector to float. Other settings just changed place.

I got a problem with ACES. The zip file is corrupted inside the link you shared in description. Do you know anywhere else that I can download?

Thanks for the tutorial, did you find out why the AttribNoise was different between the two?

You are most welcome. :). No I haven't actually. It could be to make it easier for users, like Attr VOP, Point VOP, Primitive VOP nodes but they are all the same really.

@@resilientpicture The default attribnoise is v2.0 and to switch back to earlier one there's a drop down menu at the top of the parameter window (asset name & path) there you will find the option to switch back from attribnoise :: 2.0 to attribnoise

Hi nice tutorial. Is there a reason you use Scatter AND Pyro Source? PyroSource SOP scatter points so technically you don't need Scatter, that's why I ask. Thank you.

Thank you. If I remember correctly it is to have control over the number of points and their size as explained around 08:40. Hope this helps.

@@resilientpicture Oh yeah I see. Makese sense as you keep "Kepp Incoming". Usually it gets set to Volume or something when off the shelf. Thank you for clarifying that.

I am not sure why its not working for you. Do you mean, the plugin is not working or the tutorial setup?

I do have a question, my fire looks great but it has a checkered squares look to it. Any advise?
