Oh my, Lori, you killed me when you said, "She's a pretty girl. She's been partying a little bit." I was watching so intently and when you said that, I lost it. I legit almost fell on the floor. You're awesome. I needed a good laugh today and you certainly delivered with that one.

I'm hooked on Alena Lazavera's artwork, thanks to you Lori. I expected the eye you did to blink! Gorgeous. There are pairs of eyes in one of the greyscale books I bought. It doesn't really seem to have a name, but there is a mushroom fairy house on the cover.

Beautiful eye! There was a gal in the very first coloring group I joined on Facebook (she's no longer there, and I don't see much from her anymore although I thought she was in one other group as I), but her eyes absolutely mesmerized me! I asked her about it once and she told me that an artist who makes their living from it, told her that there is just the tinest amount of yellow in all eyes and that you can change the shade of yellow, but that it has to be there in order for the eye to look right. She said that once she started following that advice, was when her eyes improved dramatically. Have no idea who the artist was, the gal never told me and probably wouldn't have meant anything because the gal lives in South Africa.

I have heard that in the past, but not everyone adds yellow. It does give a sunny look. I did another eye and added the yellow. It looks like the sun is in her eyes. Looks good.

I am currently practicing on a page from Hanna Karlzon's Magical Dawn to get it perfect before I put it permanently in the coloring book and I have the skin and eyes pretty much down because of your amazing professional videos. Still trying to perfect the hair (i am trying to copy it from an Instagram page that did the hair in platinum blond with a green tint, but mastery is eluding me but I will get it down eventually with all your hair videos

I have a grayscale book, "The Art of Coloring Eyes." It's actually page after page if just eyes. It starts has everything from babies to all kinds of adults, every kind of animal and insect eye you can imagine. The book doesn't teach anything, it's just pages of eyes. Oh I almost forgot, the book is by Hester Moult. It's a fantastic practice book. It's available on Amazon. I am just gonna copy some of the eyes in this book and practice what you teach!

Just saying as a blue eyed owner, because our eyes are blue it really is no color so using the light source say it's a sunny day out or your inside or its cloudy out will also affect the color, light brighter for sunny days and darker for cloudy. My eyes change with the weather and my mood. It's fun after a day at the pool and chlorine getting into my eyes leaves my eyes almost lavendar. Great way of teaching appreciate it.
