I will teach you how to become a colored pencil artist through the use of coloring books. I don't just demonstrate. I will teach you how to use and blend all brands of colored pencils. This is a teaching channel and you will become my student.
I have always believed in sharing knowledge and my love of teaching shows in my videos. I want you to enjoy art and through coloring books I will teach you to relax and get to a place where you are comfortable.

I personally think the hair you hate is the best feature!
Thanks for finally giving me a totally different and definitive collection of colouring strokes, your colouring speaks for itself.❤🎉❤🎉
Pencil art is the best therapy out there. If it wasn't for them I would be on 10 different meds.
Fascinating!
I love you so much. You are a genious!
Asking 'what isn't quite right' is brilliant
Color With Me's are very helpful for me as a beginner to learn
Nice collection of color pencils
Youre a wonderful teacher. Much thanks.
Would your shadow not be directly under the sphere since the light is coming from directly above?
So the cylinder and cone only has dark and light, no medium color?
So, for the back of the triangle, would the yellow be even lighter? May have been more helpful for me if you had used the same light, medium and dark colors on all shapes
Where can I find class 1-3?
Oh my. I get ocd when the labels on my pencils arent facing the same lol.
Really great tips. Thanks
Oh my and darn. This video was made 4 years ago. Was the set with no branding on the pencil from Sanford? I have a set of 120 prisma color pencils with no brand name on the pencils. If you search hard enough on th back of the tin it says Sanford. I know its too late to win a vintage copper but that's ok. I already have one. I'm glad I misplaced it, and the other metallics until recently because they are still almost like brand new. I believe I bought them in the mid or late 90's.They have been used very sparingly since I found them. Particularly the copper. Unfortunately some of them I never found again. It was I think s set of 12 but now only copper, silver, gold, purple, blue and green. Alas. Maybe they will turn up, or I'll come upon some wherever vintage pencils are found. I enjoy your videos!
Hmm, can’t say I think of the Wizard of Oz when I see your back yard. 🤷♀️
Me is 16$
Just got a full set. Took me a few months to save but so worth it. Colored pencils have been a god send for me. The most relaxing hobby ive ever had. Maybe i will get the polychromos for christmas if good fortune shines lol
what a mess
Sorry to hear about your husband passing but I am thankful you shared your story because I had no clue about potassium acting like that and my husband struggles with his potassium and has heart problems along with stage 4 prostate cancer so that was a heads up for me. God bless you.
I am sorry for your husband's illness. My husband always had a low potassium. He has been put in the hospital for low potassium before and there was never a time they tested him and he didn't have a low level. The fact he died from an overdose of it is shocking. If we only saw the mistake on the paperwork.
@@ColorMyWorld my mother in law died by a mistake at a hospital. She been sick with the flu real bad and was ordered for a shot to be given her ( this was in the 90's) I don't remember what the shot was but evidently the shot wasn't recorded and the next nurse that came in gave her the same shot and it completely dehydrated her and killed her. These things shouldn't be. So sad.
Missing you today 8July24. I hope you're doing well, of course.
Looks great! But Im super sad you never made a part 2 for this! 😢
That's one of my really old ones. I know I finished it. I still have it. It's cute.
@ColorMyWorld I know it's old but I just got this book so looking for all the coloralongs. There isnt a second half posted on your page I searched I'd love to have the full coloralong
@@katiebbyxox Are you new to coloring? If you are just learning a coloralong is no good for you. First there is hours that goes into the picture and only 15 to 20 minutes of video. That's a lot of missing pieces. Second you should be experimenting with the color blending. Yes, I can pick colors and other KZread artists do it too easily, but we all have years of experience behind us. If you don't want to practice using this book then make copies that you can practice shading different ways. Your concern now should be if your shadowing is correct and going in the same direction.
@ColorMyWorld I wouldn't consider myself advanced but I've been coloring about a year and have completed many coloralongs, this is just a newer book to me. Thankyou for the advice though I just thought your page was nice. I have a hard time sticking to color pallets so I prefer coloralongs they're just more coherently/nicely put together!
What about the Canadian Berol 60 pack in the metal box?
This is a riot! Good job : )
The music is annoying
The problem with the prices for Holbein pencils outside of Japan is the same problem, pretty much every Japanese export has. Compared to the prices in the US (or Europe where I am) They are "dirt cheap" in their country of origin. You can get the whole 150 set for roughly $150-$160 in Japan, they get so damn expensive once they leave the country. In Germany, I'd pay about 300€ for the whole set which is just ridiculous when I can have the whole set of Polychromos for about 150€ here.. But the Problem is not only with Holbein, Prismas are damn near unaffordable here as well (as long as you do not purchase through Aliexpress or pay a ton of shipping and customs when you order from the US.) So I think the export itself is , what makes the pencils so damn expensive, sadly..
Truly amazing video! You’re an incredible teacher, thank you so very much for not making me waste a gazillion hours trying to learn to color skin incorrectly!
You are a teacher, a healer of the soul, and a guide through artistry and beauty, I am about to be 68 so I have no time to waste. I discovered you lately and wished you lived next door, I embroider, do collage, watercolor, calligraphy and have done decorative painting. Nothing enchants more than color pencils. I soak in your wisdom and love your tutorials. You just seem so familiar to me. Thank you from the heart for sharing your talent.
I embroider too, but my oldest is the Queen of it.
@@ColorMyWorld Embroidery is like visual meditation right? Besides, if the Netflix movie is awful I still have a beautiful something I worked on and so didn't waste my time. Lot to be said for making something beautiful. If only we artists didn't battle carpal tunnel. Jeez.
Thank you so much for making this video. As a beginner, I’ve been ripped off - fake Prismacolor 72 on Temu still over £60 GBP. Right now, in the UK, Prismas are £200 for a full set. I also got scammed by a ‘Faber Castel sale’ for £70. I was going to stop art as a hobby as I don’t want to be such an easy target ❤
The music is really loud for me and I find it hard to hear you.
The video is old.
I loved your video and your creativity. I wish you would have shown or described the product from Daler & Rowney that you used. You show it so fast… without it the information you provided is not possible.
Thank you this is helpful
Thanks for teaching.❤❤❤
I so much love your videos. You are such a good teacher. I hope youre doing well, its been awhile. ❤
Thank you. I will be back. It makes sense why I have been gone. It's only a short time more. I don't even have art supplies right now. Hardest thing to find around here is a pencil.
Stunning tips
Your my favorite 🎭🎨 i miss you so much God bless you ❣️
I'll be back soon. Guess what... I have a grandson!
@@ColorMyWorld omg congratulations 🕊️🙏🎉🎉🎉🎉 I'm so excited for you 🙏🕊️
@@ColorMyWorld no wonder you're busy!! A grandson!! Wonderful!!
❤thank you for sharing
Hi I'm from Canada and bought my first set of berols in about 1993. I love them
Excellent video very helpful!
Your videos are almost impossible to watch. You are all over the place. It seems that you are unable to keep your train of thought for any length of time. I’m sorry, but it is too painful to listen to you and take you seriously.
Great video on coloring techniques! I really appreciated the breakdown of each method, especially stippling-it's my favorite too because I find it so relaxing. The tips on hatching and cross-hatching were super helpful for adding depth. Thanks for sharing these techniques; they’re fantastic for anyone looking to refine their coloring skills!
❤
Beautiful results. My technique for hair is to do the highlight color first, then the midtone in the darkest areas of the hair, then lay the dark color on the midtone. Does that matter to the end result? Or is your technique better?
Omg the bird seed part is too funny!
What pens size do they come in for drawing hair of one bee
